I asked my daughter to pick up some Inka Kola, a Peruvian soda, the individual can price was $1.59, the girl at the register was charging her almost $13.00 for a six pack, this was before tax. She called me to ask what to do. Why would pay for 8 cans when you are only getting 6? Because my daughter doesnât speak Spanish, the girl was talking smack about her to her friend (in Spanish) and they were laughing at her. I told her to put the 6 packs back and take individual cans out of the cooler for $1.59, when the girl realized that was more work for her, she changed the price for the 6 pack to $9.54. We have been shopping for Peruvian groceries at Mercado Latino for several years, the service has been going down consistently every year and the prices have increased. I am all for supporting small business, but we will be skipping this one and I suggest everyone...

Most item prices arenât labeled, apparently asking for the price is too much to ask for.
Please check for expiration dates on process products, donât purchase if the date has been tampered with or covered with tape, be careful!
