This is the NOISIEST place you will ever live. It's absurd. They used to care a bit more about residents, but now it's just about making money off their surrounding businesses who are also their tenants. They've taken away our parking spots in front of our own buildings to instead cater to steakhouse and Mexican restaurant customers, and there is ZERO regard for tenants' privacy or quiet enjoyment (even late at night... we're talking past midnight on week nights) of the "luxury" apartments we pay way too much for. They allow "musicians" to blast their live concerts outside the buildings into the night multiple times a week, so hopefully you don't want to sleep! Or watch tv! Or hear yourself think! You can also hear anyone above/below/next to you and in the hallways. You'd think they would've spent a bit more on insulation for what they knew they'd be charging us. I'll be moving out as soon as they let me. Avoid this place at all costs.

My family moved from Mississippi to Illinois in June of 2021. It was a scary time to move to a state and new city we were not familiar with. I searched the entire internet for properties and drove up one weekend, before our move, and toured several apartments and houses.

While I was touring the apartment, I mentioned my husband was in a wheelchair and I needed to measure the bathroom to make sure there was enough room for him to turn around in it. She asked me if I needed an ADA apartment, I was actually worried she was going to suggest other apartment locations for ADA features, but NO! The Trace has fully ADA compliant apartments! I had already fallen in love with the property from my tour was very excited to tell my husband that the entire space was accessible to him as well! Since we've moved in they have added other ADA features such as closer parking to make life easier for us.

I moved into Trace towards the end of 2021. At first I was nervous as to what to expect, but I've really been welcomed by the other residents and the staff. I love my apartment and there is plenty of room for myself and my two dogs. There is a nice dog park and I'm close to a walking trail. I'll get to try the pool in just a few more months. Trace offers lots of activities for us to enjoy should we choose to do so. I'm growing to love this maintenance free lifestyle! Everything in my building is clean and well-maintained.
