I had a very unusual and unpleasant experience with an employee. I went to the meat section(carniceria) and grabbed a numbered ticket. When it was my turn I felt rushed by the meat dispatcher even though I was prepared and knew what I wanted and told him what I needed in timely manner. Later while walking around the store to grab tortillas (about 10 min later) I decided I wanted some cheese (queso fresco from the carniceria) because Cardenas tortillas taste good with cheese. So I returned to the carniceria and grabed another numbered ticket. I waited for 5 people to order and when it was my turn the meat dispatcher doesn’t look at me, instead he looks at all the other people waiting to be serviced and he raises his voice to tell them that I already ordered and why is it possible that I did not ordered what I needed the first time. I embarrasingly go to the customers and show them my ticket and that I was next in line and that I was not cutting in line. I guess they were embarrased for me because they all were quite. The dispatcher continued humiliating me, and I was trying to make sense of it all and explain to him to look at my ticket. And he never listened or looked he just look down and telling himself “ni que hablar” “ni que hablar”. I felt really bad and confused besides super embarrased. Is there rules when ordering? Do I have to leave the store and return to order what ever I want from the meat section? Is freaking hot outsides to be playing these little games. At the end he did gave me the cheese but in a rude manner. Please educate your employees by telling them that if they have a numbered ticket they can order as many times as they want. There was no reason for all of that. I will start going some place else to buy meats because he is a rude man. He is an older man, probably 65...
Read moreI am writing on behalf of my mother and the way she was treated today in the El Centro Store by the angry lady tortilla packer . My mom needed a couple of packs and the woman refused to give my mom the packs and instead was passing them out to other customers talking about my mom but not directly to her being very rude. My Mother then spoke to Jesus the store manager and his words to her were “and what do you want me to do fire her”? What kind of manager treats customers that way? I’m floored even if we thought the tortilla lady could use some brush up on her customer service skills well now we understand why she acts that way it’s comes down the pipe and if your management team is this unprofessional and lacking in customer service training how can we expect the store staff to be effective. We will take our business somewhere else hopefully they get...
Read moreI am a regular customer at Cardenas and every time I get to the food court the line is long the service slow and the bar to fix your tacos is always messy and empty today the table was so dirty and disgusting with no help to clean it if you decide to eat there you have to clean it yourself Maybe the manager need to check departments more often and make sure they are properly functioning.
Update: I saw the manager prompt response and promised to address the issue two months later I decided to return at this location 😆 and there was 15 people in line at the food court they take an average of 3 to 4 min per person Good luck to the last...
