They were so nice at this store! Lupe was the sales rep that took care of us. Between her and the store manager we got an awsome deal on our Tempurpedic adjustabe beds, pillows, protectors, comforters, and added guarantees. I know we got superb service and prices because two years ago we had the most awful experience at the Ashley home furniture store in Yuma AZ (the one on 4th Street). I won't go into detail on it because I already posted that in my Google rating for that store. I will say however, that the experience was so bad we decided to by a bed at Costco instead because we were just too afraid to deal with a store like that again. However, the Ashley's at El Centro had a big event going not too long ago and we decided to just check it out. The difference was like night and day. There was no pressure, the staff was lighthearted and helpful. I believe the manager was aware of the bad experience we had years ago and it seems he tried to be as accommodating as possible. Just to tell you, we went in to buy one bed and left with three! No regrets! Also the movers are really nice! They came earlier than expected so we had only moved one old bed out but still needed to move another out of the other bedroom. We asked if they could come back later at the accorded time unless they wanted to move the bed out for us (joking) they said since it was their last delivery they'd rather help us out. They did it carefully and patiently which we so appreciated. The Ashley corporation should reward stores like these that actually boosts their reputation! So happy! We're looking to perhaps buy a dinning room table in the future. We already know where we'll go shopping for it! Thanks to Lupe and the store manager! Also, thank you Tony (I believe that was his name) who was so helpful 2 yrs ago when we were having that awful experience in Yuma. He helped us to understand what our rights were and even offered to match the deal we had over there even though they didn't have those specials going on just so we could be happy and make our purchase but like I said we had such a bad experience we were too afraid to take the plunge again. Read moreVery rude and arrogant managers. Was going to post my previous visit complaint earlier but decided to wait until all my furniture was picked up before hand. So I walked in today and talk to them about picking up my mirror which wasn't delivered in the first delivery like it should of and and instead of delivering it and installing it like i paid for i had to go pick it up and install it myself. I also needed to make a payment to the finance company but they were not even there when the store opened. I guess nasty McDonald's was more of a priority. I had to wait on them like always do. So as I was waiting today and I over heard one of the guys reading a complaint to the staff behind counter. I'm assuming he was a manager. Which is totally unprofessional to do in front of a customer. Hope you read this is front of another customer too. So back to my initial complaint. Really has to do with Ashley and her don't bother me attitude and the finance guy who you can stand in front of and will never ask to help you. You have to ask if he can help you. Ashley's attitude I have noticed from the 3 or 4 visits that I have been there not just a one time thing. For the finance guy I stood in front of him for over 10min while he was wacthing and off road video on his cell phone. After waiting patiently I asked if he could help me with making a payment and he said he thought I was being helped already by someone else behind the counter. Nope I'm standing if front you you Mr Finance guy. If you didn't have your phone stuck to your face and just asked if I needed help you would of noticed I wasn't being helped. This store and it's employees are a joke. IF YOU DO GO TO THE STORE BE PREPARED TO DEAL WITH TYPICAL POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Read moreHonestly my in-store experience wasn't that bad, it wasn't great by any means but it was ok. I am giving Ashley Furniture 1 star because of their delivery service and I wish I could give them negative stars. The two men that delivered my furniture were late, rude, and idiots. First of all, they never showed during my delivery window and when I finally got in touch with the warehouse they said the truck is running late and they gave me another delivery window....ok, ok I can understand that. Next when they finally got to my home they were very rude right off. They told me they were not setting it up for me, that they could leave it outside or just inside the door and told me "well, you should have paid the extra $80 buck. Huh? Ok so shame on the in-store folks for not offering me set up for $80 but whatever, I can set it up myself. Next they were trying bring it inside my door but the first way they tried it wouldn't fit and they didn't even try moving it a different direction to see if it would fit. Then I suggested they could bring it in through the patio door and they said they didn't have time because Ashley was timing them on their deliveries and they had already spent too much time at my location. So I told them to get on then so they just left the couch outside my door . Then they proceeded to sit in their truck for at least another 15 min before they left. BTW, I got that couch inside my door and set it up by myself within 15 minutes. I will never shop at Ashley...
