Goodwill Retail Store, Outlet Center, and Donation Center — Local services in El Centro

This is a huge Goodwill in El Centro containing every variation of Goodwill- the outlet, retail store && bins- in other words, struck treasure!

The bins will always be my favorite. Super, super cheap stuff literally in piles everywhere that you have to rifle through but usually find the most unique pieces if you’re patient and enduring. At this location it was $1 per item- so my boyfriend and I found 10 pieces of clothing, for a grand total of $10! Amazing!

The outlet was very big and had some decent options. The retail center has standard and many duplicates of things but can be helpful if you’re just looking to grab something for cheap like a belt or other. Excellent customer service from the donation receiving team!! Don’t throw it away! Instead donate it and donate it to the Goodwill in El Centro.

We took some clothes in & by mistake, I had put in a jacket that had huge sentimental importance to me. Thankfully I realized my mistake and went back and spoke with the manager, Jose Rivera. Him & the young man who accepts the donations started discussing the sorting of the goods and Jose told me that he would do a double check and let me know either way if he found it.

Jose called immediately to let me know he found the jacket!

I've never been in a Goodwill like this. The store looks like they are short of merchandise. No need to move things around on the shelves to see what's actually on them as they are mostly empty. And looks like what they do have is crap that never sold at garage sales. And it's soooooo overpriced it's actually funny. Overpriced garage sales leftovers. About 25% more expensive than brand new at Walmart. And there are NO DISCOUNTS. No sales, no reduced price days or color tags. And no customers. 😂🤣😅 I can't imagine why.
