Just wanted to give a huge shout out to this Verizon location! When I first walked in the door it seemed to look like they were slammed all four of the seating areas where they help out customers were busy with Associates and they had two people on the bench and me and another guy walked through the door I knew I was in for a long wait. I think not they handle it like professionals I had another guy come up to me while I was looking at phone cases and told me he will help me in just a minute while he was getting a receipt for another customer professionally multitasking which I really appreciate it. Moments later I had someone coming up to me to check me in I told them I was just coming in for a phone case and Screen she said I could help with that right away and I told her I already knew what I wanted and she was able to pull them from the back and put them on my phone from me as well! While she was doing that she was multitasking and telling people what to do while they were getting off their lunch break. But she did it in such a nice way she asked how their lunch was and everything I would be honored to have her as my manager and or boss she is such a sweetheart and anyone would be lucky to be able to be helped by her! My expectations were blown away! This place is extremely efficient and handles business with professionalism and integrity! I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody! Read moreVerizon can be helpful when initially opening a plan but after 3 years of being a solid customer and overpaying for a family plan both my wife and I tried to talk to them about lower priced deals being offered to new customers. In my case they would only respond with what I could add and in my wife’s case they made her wait 45 minutes because they had a scheduled appointment that never showed to the staff just sat there. She grew tired and left. Actually that was a good thing because we walked across the plaza and got a much better deal from T-Moble. Saved 100 a month while adding a 5th line. My bank notified me that I have a pending auto payment of $400 bill from Verizon so I canceled and tried to get into my old account to see the bill. Of course I’m not a customer so can’t get into the account to see why so I stopped by this Version store to ask why. I was told there was 5 people ahead and the wait would be 45 minutes and they would text. An hour later no text, I walked in and was told I was 4th in line and the wait was indeterminate. They did say they helped more than 2 people in the last hour but priorities had changed. I left. Maybe it’s Verizon training, maybe it’s lack of staff , I’m not sure.. but I’d recommend avoiding this store and Verizon altogether. T-Mobile has been great , ...
Read moreMost mis-managed store that I have ever seen... I stopped by the Verizon El Cerrito Plaza location to get some information about a lost credit. The person managing the queue told me there would a few minutes wait. There was one person ahead of me, who had been waiting for 20 minutes already. After personally waiting waiting for 23 minutes, I noticed that one of the agents said goodbye and shook hands with a customer, but spent the next 15 minutes with them talking about his favorite songs in Spanish. I walked up to the queue manager and let him know what was happening, but rather than trying to remedy the situation, he casually told me that everyone there is very personable!! I told him, you don't shoot the breeze with a finished customer for 15 minutes, when there are people waiting for close to an hour. Another 10 minutes passed, and nothing happened, so I walked to one of the store managers and tried telling him about the situation, but he too rudely brushed me off.
