Plaza De Flores Shopping Center — Local services in El Paso

Went to Dollar Genny to buy my monthly provisions. Clerk was in a super good mood. Made the checkout a pleasure. DG had everything on my "gotta get" list. But prices are up and rising. Thinking of renaming DG "Dolor" General, cuz it pains me and my billfold to go there and pay more for less. This DG [corner of N. Loop & Zaragoza] is the best stocked and has yet to disappoint. Whereas the two DGs in Horizon City are OK, but run out of the usual suspects PDQ-pretty darn quick. The "gen pop" growth on EP's east side is also inflation related. Prices are going up and inflation is here to zap our budgets. Gonna use the $5 off $25 paper coupon Saturday to lessen the price...

I personally like this shopping center because it has a little bit of everything you need and want and the same time, starts with the new restaurant they made in the corner called Wing daddy's, and then we're sundrugs used to be that is now a dentist place, you have what use to get the gran mercado Wich is not Uno Plus, DDs discount, O' Railey, Cal tv furniture plus you can pay your bills inside there too pretty cool, burger king, panda Express, Dollar tree, Rachel's perfume, you have a Wells Fargo bank and ATM you have a Chase ATM, and flautas tepalca, Subway, cricket store a T-MOBILE store, two loans places,...

The area by DD's reminded me of downtown. Stores full of stuff one can barely walk through. Don't try to go to the restrooms. They were filthy and one stall was not working at DD's. Also, there were no trash cans outside so there were diapers and all kinds of trash littered outside the stores. One more thing, when I got out of the car it sounded like I was in the jungle. They play these loud birds in distress recordings which can be irritating. I'm sure they do that to keep the birds away but looks like it doesn't work very well as the sidewalks...
