Wags n Whiskers — Local services in El Segundo

My dog Prince has been having GI issues at least three times a week for a while, so I decided to book an appt with the vet. But a week before going to the vet, I stopped at Wags N Whiskers and shared my concerns. The owner Mike explained that my dog is probably allergic to his food. Prince would not touch his food all day and just eat it at night. He explained the dog probably knows the food is bad for him but by the end of the day he is starving so he had to eat it. He recommended changing his food to another brand with specific ingredients that would probably be great for prince, and his wife, Maggie, recommended this goat milk probiotic. I was in a bit disbelief, but I decided to try. As soon as I put the new food on Prince's bowl, he devoured everything and wanted more (wow!!), he hasn't eaten like that for a while. I didn't even need to transition food. He adapted to it right away. And next day, his behavior changed, he stopped licking his paws all the time, my husband told me Prince started acting way happier. It has been a week I changed his food and my dog hasn't had any diarrhea (tmi) since. So, I canceled the vet appt! I won't shop for my dog anywhere else; I love supporting locals, small business owners. Mike and Maggie are super nice and helpful, their products are all coming from safe sources and prices are totally competitive. Actually, I think I will be saving money, since the new food doesn't have all these fillers, I can feed him less quantities, he gets more nutrients and definitely less...
