El Tarasco Mexican Food — Restaurant in El Segundo

Giving 4 stars because they fixed their mistake with our order and the food was good. We ordered online through door dash and after delivered (hand off from the person) we found out when we opened the bag upstairs that we had not recieved half the order (the most expensive half, $20 steak tacos) and the wrong size drink. I called the restaurant & at 1st they couldn't find the order & thought it was placed with another location, but then after persistence from me & confirming the restaurant's address, they found it. They did offer to fix it by giving us another taco (got 3 instead of 2) and giving us a large horchata. I didn't want to deal with another mess up so I drove over & personally picked up the order. Confirmed they corrected their mistake & they did include more chips & salsa as well. Since they fixed the mistake & food was tasty, only took off 1 star because I believe in giving grace. I didn't like that I had to drive over through craziness of the downtown festival, but we all make mistakes and I wanted to ensure the kids in my care got their...

To me, El Tarasco has become my "Go to" place when I feel the urge to consume a delicious Mexicano dish.

I first became acquainted with the food "Trashco" had to offer in 1971. Of course, no negativity is intended from what me and my friends (unfairly) called it back then. It has been a live affair ever since.

Without doubt, the salsa (prepared daily) is second to none! I miss the daily special (taco, enchilada and beans) being charged a mere .99 for such treat.

These days I frequent the Westchester location a minimum of two times a week.

The quesadillas are awesome, the tostada's are collosal and of course the "Super Deluxe Burrito" is fabulous.

This place is located on main street in the city of El Segundo. You can diner inside or outside love when a place give you seating options. Me and my friends order a number of Mexican food of the menu. I ordered the burritos with chicken and green onion and a red sauce on top. Others ordered tequitos with beans. The food was cooked prefect !! The plate was hot hot and when I cut into the burrito and took a bite it taste great.
