Had a horrible experience with this pizza hut on super bowl sunday. Not only did it take 3 hours to get my pizza, it had to be remade because they gave me an entirely wrong order. Now believe me i was willing to cut them a little slack at first because i know that day is crazy busy for pizzas. The problem gets even worse because they no longer have actual delivery drivers that work for them. Its all door dash. I paid for my order in cash. Original dasher left after i paid her, then i found out the order was totally wrong, not even one item correct. Call them and after 20 minutes of trying, get through, they agree to remake it, say im not responsible for paying or tipping again. New door dash driver arrives, hands me food, then demands payment. I state i already paid, and he becomes incredibly hostile demanding i pay or give the food back to him, and that he paid for it with his own money. If you know anything about door dashers, they do not pay for anything out of pocket. They have a doordash debt card for times where payment is required up front. So not only was he hostile, he was lying to my face and probably planning to steal my food if i were dumb enough to give it back to him. He continues to demand money and refuses to leave. I call the store telling them this whole storey and they tell him no i already paid, and he needs to leave. I would find out later from doordash apparently this is a common issue when paying cash with pizza hut for delivery orders with doordash. I waste 30 minutes arguing with this guy and the store because he refused to listen, still demanding payment, before i finally had to threaten him with trespassing charges. He cursed me out calling me a bad person still complaining it was his money and proceeded to spit at me on his way out. What a tough guy he was, as if im supposed to be offended by that. Not.
One, it is not my responsibility to resolve issues between doordash and whatever store i am ordering from. Two, there is no accountability beyond reporting him to doordash for what he did (and i did report him for threatening behavior and making my family feel unsafe). I wasnt even offered a refund from the store for any of this nonsense, and i didnt even really want to eat the stupid pizza after that. Completely ruined my evening, wasted my time to watch the game, and pissed me off to no end. I refuse to order anything from this pizza hut again unless they go back to hiring actual drivers who work for their store. Unfortunately, i think pizza hut is doing this with all their chains now. Really bad decision, and its going to bite them hard once complaints like mine start piling up. Moral of the story, if youre going to order from this pizza hut, dont pay cash...
Read moreOur most recent order from this Pizza Hut location was a disaster. I overlooked past problems like slow delivery and sloppy or cold pizza. But we won't be ordering from here again.
We ordered three pizzas; two were burned and the other must have been dropped by the delivery man. I called the store to talk to a manager, but was redirected to a call center in Dallas, TX. When the call center forwarded my call to the local store the phone was never picked up. So, I tried calling the store directly again and was rerouted back to the TX call center. After speaking with a floor supervisor there (who informed me that he couldn't do anything about my problem other than connect me to the store) my phone call was again forwarded to the local Pizza Hut. This time the call was disconnected after the first ring. I waited 5 minutes and called the store and was able to speak with the manager who yelled at me, told me I was lying about having issues reaching them, and then told me I needed to bring the pizzas into the store with the receipt. So, I packed up the food and drove to the Pizza Hut where the manager again told me I was lying. She then told me that she couldn't refund my money because the Pizzas were put on my wife's credit card and not mine. She did, however, invite me to go home and get my wife's credit card and then return to the store. Unfortunately, she did not apologize for the hassle or the pizzas. So, I left the pizzas at the store and went to a local chain. The entire ordeal took just over an hour.
The good news is that I ended up getting some great pizza...
Read moreOrdered 3 pizzas for delivery. 2 were soggy and the 3rd was incorrect. Had to look up the number as it was not on the receipt. Called 2 times letting it ring 10 or more times before busy signal. 3rd time finally an answer. Seems like a LOT of reviews this way. The manager stated that the pizza were to be soggy, then when challenged, he blamed Door Dash- not their fault, certainly not sending the wrong pizza. Claimed he couldn't do a refund, this was his regionals job, he wouldn't be in until morning. He assured me it would be taken care of. I also had written a complaint on their website AND did a survey through an email I received. It has now been 4 business days and no response AND NO REFUND. I had to go through my bank and dispute the charge, which I received through the bank. Pizza Hut in Eldersburg is absolutely disgraceful.. You are better off going to Ledo's, or Sonny's , or Genova's or any other pizza place. Beware, it seems like I am not the only one with this issue. I had since sent several more requests for corporate to contact me and they still have not. This tells me either they don't care or they have so many complaints, they cant/wont return the request. Your guess is...
