Very rude customer service I noticed other reviews have mentioned the same, now I know why from experiencing it. Besides that note, my issue was I had called over the phone to ask for availability on three different flashlights rechargeable. I was told that they're in stock and they have them in store so I get there I'm looking at the flashlight open the boxes all of the Chargers and other attachments were missing. I was not informed over the phone that these were not complete items I called to begin with so I wouldn't drive over there for nothing. I felt like he was a used cars salesman trying to sell me a car without an engine. Then when I get to the store an hour before closing he's hiding nowhere to be seen. Try to avoid customers and that's sad because I was willing to spend about for $500 in there. I left without buying the flashlights. I've been to all the Battery Plus in my area this location is the worst one out of all of them. Battery plus , location that has the best customer service is the one in Mount Prospect. if I do decide to purchase these items I will be showing up to the Mount Prospect store give them the business. Read moreI was looking for a battery holder for a CR2032 for a project I was working on. I phoned the store to ask if they had this part, and the fellow who answered said they did. Great, I thought, so I replied I'd probably stop by then. However, when I went there later that same day and asked, the kid at the counter hadn't a clue. He checked with the guy in the back room, who said that they didn't have any.
Surprise, surprise.
I was mad about the wasted trip. Who wants to run around any more than they have to, especially on a weekend? If they didn't have any, fine, but then why say you have it when you don't? That is not the way to win friends and influence people. Well, technically I suppose it does influence people but in a negative way, and believe me, guys, that's not what you want. I ended up ordering what I wanted online anyhow, stalling my project. It's probably cheaper online anyhow.
