Horrible experience. I didn’t get to eat the food bc they got my order wrong. And the customer service was terrible. I ordered a pizza thru grubhub (gh). It said delivery time was 30-40 min. My confirmation said 50-60 and I finally got the pizza 92 min after my order was placed. And it was wrong. It had mushrooms when I ordered without. I called the restaurant to explain and got put on with Tony (the owner). He offered to send out a new pizza but it’s friday night and they are very busy so it’ll be 45 min. Putting me close to 2.5 hours for my food. I requested to be compensated in some way for that inconvenience and he says, “you want a new pizza? And you want to be comped?” I said yes and he told me to get refunded I have to contact gh bc he didn’t take my money, they did. So after he got frustrated with me pressing and he hung up on me I called back and asked for his name. They put him on and I try to explain myself but he just talked over me and interrupted and hung up on me again. To I went thru gh like he said and they called him to get approval for the refund and he said no. So I try again. No again. So I called him and when he realizes who he’s talking to and what I’m asking he started to talk over me again saying he’s tired and I’m wasting his time and when I said he’s something else, he said “I’m something else? And goes on about how I’m taking up his time and hung up on me again. So called back and he sounds exasperated and says he doesn’t know what I want. So I try again to explain that they made a mistake I deserve to be refunded but he interrupted me again and said he already approved the refund and when I said they said he didn’t he said to contact them again and he will approve it this time. You have to give them your coupon code when making the order and if you then forget your $1 off they make you leave and bring it in order to give you the $1 off! Whats the point of having to give the code over the phone then? Cant u just say ok please make sure you bring it next time instead of making me leave in the freezing cold to get it?? And once i ordered our free pizza from collecting the 24 coupons and put the order under my number instead of my husbands. The owner embarrased me by accusing me of stealing them from somewhere and when i told him my husband orders from here usually i just didnt know his new number by heart, he made me look it up to count how many pizzas he ordered before, to make sure i did not steal them.
