Burger King — Restaurant in Elgin

I've only been here once passing through, not one of my more favorite BKs. Stop this review is based on one visit made on a Tuesday at about 9pm. I was the second vehicle that went through the drive thru, which ended up needing the beginning of a rush for them. While the were several cars behind me the was no one inside. All business was in the drive thru. I actually waited 10 minutes from when they took my order(kid's meal, 2 whoppers, and whopper jr meal) and when they took my money. I was then asked to 'pull up to the next window' where i waited while 4 other vehicles got there orders and left. Be the time i got the order it had been waiting over 20 minutes. Oh and when they have me EXPIRED milk with my granddaughters kids meal and i have it back along for one that wasn't a MONTH expired i received a dirty look, no apology, just a nasty look and she proceeded to saunter over(taking him time when she has 5 cars behind me) and pull out 3 more EXPIRED MILK before she walked over and gave me one not expired. She was dressed like a manager but sure didn't act like one. Very unprofessional and very inconsiderate. Avoid this place and go to...

This is the rudest most distespectful franchise i have ever delt with, i have tried to come here several times before the scheduled close time and they decided to close the business down early. It always seems they want to get rid of the customer rather than to upsell and make more money. Tonight was the tipping point......there were several customers dining inside and when we went though the drive thru they refused to answer when i tried to order a meal in the drice thru. So trying to assume that maybe they shut off the speaker and were sticking to dine in only, i tried to go to the door, only to be greeted by a locked door along with someone that identified as a manager saying that she decided to close early since they were "dead", even though there were approx 9 costomers waiting and being turned away in the drive thru as well as trying to dine in. I tried to ask why they were being turned away since they werent infact dead, and she looked at me for approx 5 sec and just closed and locked the door...

Whom took the order was rude not only did not inform us for the wait,but told us most items ordered were no longer in stock, voided but didn't offer an alternative. Did not seem like the staff had any urgency providing a quick and efficent service for their customers. One employee was leaning on a fryer eating strawberries, others just stood around talking to eachother, meanwhile a car in front of us is asked to pull forward and 3+ cars behind us waited to pay&recieve our orders. We were asked to pull forward without reason as well and continued to wait for 10+minutes. If we hadn't already paid and wasn't stuck in between cars we would of left. When order was recieved burgers were cold and not even made right, fries were shribbled, items missing and quality of package, food, service are just down right unacceptable. I should have NOT chosen BK as our FAMILY meal tonight. Thanks, no thanks BK. BK corp. Should look into this location...
