I tried working with Monica to order engineered wood flooring. Initially everything was fine. I was communicating with her, getting samples at least on 3-4 different occasions. When I finally made up my mind she sent me an estimate, which I felt was high and I asked her if there was an option that cost less. She told me that she would look for something similar to the sample I selected and get back to me. That never happened. I reach out to her for an update and I never received a response and now weeks later I still have not heard from her.
I've used ProSource at the Buffalo Grove location when I redecorated my kitchen. The staff at this now closed location were topnotch unlike Elk Grove Village. I initially thought maybe she was on vacation or maybe even ill but I still have not heard a word nor did anyone follow up with me if she was unavailable for any reason. This is so frustrating when you're trying to complete a project. Monica's lack of unprofessionalism will prevent me from ever doing any of my future projects with ProSource. Original post: I've never reviewed a company publicly before, but I wish someone had warned me off of Prosource. And I wish I could give them 0 stars. My bookshelf was delivered in November of 2024. The finish was uneven, the repair kit was missing and one shelf was missing. Over the following 4.5 months, they have sent me four wrong replacement shelves and each time it gets worse - it's too long, too long and too wide, too long, too wide and the wrong finish. Now they've sent the shelf to a repair place to be cut to the right size, but they sent the wrong finish shelf to be cut. I've been told a regional manager would reach out on remedy for the last six weeks but have yet to hear from anyone. I have to email every week to get a status update and there is no end in sight. Read moreI hate leaving these reviews but I had a terrible customer experience. Originally I was going to need some replacement cabinet trim in our laundry room for our Omega cabinets. I called and the lady said to email her the specifics. I emailed. Turned out the extra trim wasn't needed but I wanted to order some touch up paint to fix some areas. I asked several times over email with multiple people. Provided my info. It's been enough time for me to clearly see no one is going to take ownership to make sure I get the paint.
