Avenue BG — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I ordered a take out a week ago. I was so disappointed with what I received. I ordered chicken nuggets and it was not handmade, it is the same you can buy from Walmart, and they could not cook well even those, because it was burned. My child who loves chicken nuggets tried it and refused to eat even 1 piece. Also they reccomended me to order some meat. And it stinks so bad , I could not even stay by it. I had to close the box because odor was that bad. Seems like it was overfrosted meat , very old. And what's more, they put meat on top of French fries. And it is pick up. Buy the time I bring it home fries got wet and taste bad. Also lamb steak was without seasoning at all. We paid $70 and did not eat any...

I’ve been a few times at this restaurant, but the experience I had was not great… it was awful. The management was rude, the customer service was 0, and the food was old and stale (disgusting).We had to return everything that we’ve ordered. The staff at the kitchen seems like they haven’t changed the oil for a long time. I found a hair in my salad… There was really nothing I can point to and say “this was good”. It’s a shame it took such a downturn. Used to be a really good place for breakfast. I never gonna visit this place ever again in my life…I can’t and I never gonna recommend it to anyone.

Food is absolutely great, but if you are not Bulgarian you will struggle with what to order. They have a special of the day, but unless you know to ask for it, you will have no way of knowing that exists. But the food is properly seasoned and cooked fresh. The menu typography is hard to read, and the descriptions are not thorough enough for the non Bulgarian.
