Goodwill has always been one of my favorite places to get clothes from because it allows for clothes to have a second purpose and not just get thrown away. Unfortunately, over the past few years Goodwill has raised their prices. Now, this isnt entirely their fault. I have seen many younger generations (mine included) buying very inexpensive articles of clothing and then selling them on online retailing websites for double to price. For this reason, Goodwill had to raise their prices. Like I said, this isn't directly Goodwills fault, but it is very disappointing to see such an amazing second hand thrift store raise prices to match higher quality second hand stores. This also leaves those who are low in income to have to look for a new inexpensive store to buy clothing and other household objects for their families. Goodwill does still offer some diamonds in the rough, but overall it has become a store that sells mediocre clothing for twice the price they should be. The staff here are also iffy. Most of the time, the workers are doing their jobs; hanging up clothing, cleaning around the store, and running the cash register. Sometimes, though, you get an uninvolved worker who could care less about helping people. Many times I have found myself wandering around Goodwill looking for an associate to answer a question. I understand the need to do your job and keep busy, but helping customers should also be a top priority. This store does have its flaws, like every store will, but once you look over them you'll find a helpful caring environment that offers some inexpensive options for clothing, accessories, shoes, household...
Read moreVery sad at how this place has gone down-hill. The prices have SKYROCKETED, everything is about double the price it used to be. If it is a known name brand, it is at least $12+ no matter what it is or what condition it is in. Filthy, gross clothing items are being sold at outrageous prices. If anything looks like it has even an ounce of value, it is thrown in the front display cases where the price is higher than what is even on eBay. I don't know if a new management or manager came in and started making changes, but they are driving away recurring customers. This used to be one of the better Goodwills in the area, however, it's at the bottom of...
Read moreI really love how well-organized this Goodwill store is. One of my favorite things to do is go shopping here with my mother-in-law, and we always find amazing deals. I've been in often enough that I recognize several of the employees at this point, and they really have great attitudes. And it shows! The first time we went in, we couldn't believe how well-kept the entire store is. I would describe this Goodwill as clean and well-priced with a good stock of quality items. If you go in, make sure to sign up for a Good Points card if you haven't already. The card lets you earn money back and is good for steep discounts (40% - 50%) storewide on...
