I’ve frequented this particular location even before the pandemic but I will not be back. On one occasion, I walked in with my partner and all the employees were in a huddle at the register. They just stared at us as if we were disturbing them. Customer service was nonexistent. We continued to shop and truly felt like this blonde guy with a pony tail was following us around. Today, we went in to pick up less than 10 items and the same guy rolled his eyes as we approached the register. Literally just do the job you’re being paid to do and ring us up without all the dramatics. Was followed by one of the staff while shopping here. My guess it has to do with Elmhurst being a predominantly white (according to their news letter they’re a solid 93% of the population ) and being the only brown person in store did not help. Being told by the cashier “did you find everything you needed and DID NOT need?” Was an obvious micro aggression and she was insinuating that I was there to steal. I can't recommend this place highly enough - THEY REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF!
