A Picturesque Venue: Wilder Mansion
Choosing the perfect venue for a wedding is paramount, and Wilder Mansion offers a unique charm that's hard to find elsewhere. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the mansion exudes an old-world charm that can transform any wedding into a fairy tale.
Size Matters: The mansion is best suited for intimate gatherings. If you're envisioning a grand wedding with hundreds of guests, this might not be the ideal choice. However, for couples planning a more personal celebration with 30-50 close friends and family, the mansion provides the perfect backdrop. Its cozy and intimate setting ensures that every guest feels special and included.
A Photographer's Dream: As a photography team, we were in awe of the myriad of photo opportunities the mansion presented. Every nook and cranny tells a story, making it a dream location for capturing those candid moments and posed shots. While we respected the mansion's policy of not posting pictures of the couple, we managed to capture the essence of the place sans the guests. The result? Stunning photographs that speak volumes.
Lighting Considerations: One aspect to note is the mansion's dim lighting. While it adds to the ambiance, it can be a challenge for photographers. We recommend couples to consider additional lighting arrangements to ensure every moment is captured in its full glory.
In Conclusion: Our experience at Wilder Mansion was overwhelmingly positive. The venue is not just a place but an experience, one that will remain etched in the memories of all who set foot in it. For couples seeking a unique and intimate wedding venue, Wilder Mansion should undoubtedly be...
Read moreWilder Mansion was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. In regards to the beauty of the venue, all that needs to be said is this: we had no less than 7 other wedding/quinceañera/homecoming parties trying to take pictures at the same time as us (and we were able to kindly ask them to leave as we had the property rented - it is normally public). The sunken garden is stunning. Unfortunately, we had a storm brewing all day and had to make the call to move the ceremony inside. The staff pivoted instantly and got everything ready without any difficulty - and we were still able to make it gorgeous. We worked almost exclusively with Meagan leading up to the event. She is professional, knowledgeable, quick, and, most importantly, an ABSOLUTE JOY to work with. We met Hannah very close to the wedding and I found out she would be the lead on the day instead of Meagan. I got a little worried, but that was completely unwarranted. Hannah absolutely killed it that day. When my now husband was performing his butt off to Defying Gravity, I ran to her with no warning to try and get a broom for him to raise at the end. Not only did she go run (literally) and find one, she did so with so much joy and enthusiasm that I felt so special. In short, if you’re considering using Wilder Mansion for your wedding, look no further. The value is TOP NOTCH, the service is beyond professional, and the visuals...
Read moreMy sister and brother in law hosted their gender reveal here a few weeks ago and the weekend event coordinator Lisa was an absolute drag! She acted like we were intruding in on her lunch break, ate the whole time and had her book in her face, did not greet any of our guests, did not show my sister and her husband (the hosts) what all they had access to, made my brother in law take out the trash to his own event, was flat out rude to every last guest (did not speak when they said hello to her), did not have any trash receptacles out for use, turned off the music before our event was even over, came in a few times to remind my brother in law of when his event was to be over and forced us to clean up while guests were still seated prior to the event being over. When I say snobbiest rude woman of color…it be your own kind! If I refer anyone to this place…and I DONT…I’d recommend you work with the weekday event coordinator and plan during the week or ask for the weekday coordinator to assist your weekend event. Also this place has nothing to offer but space, not much decor to look at. Just...
