I've been here shopping here many times, this is my favorite branch of Ross, but today after more than two years of being a customer here, today April 7th, Sunday around 10:30am, it's the first time I experienced a terrible service. After I paid I asked the lady in loss prevention that is standing in the door if I can take the cart with me at the parking lot since my cart is very full and there are items that are breakable and very heavy that I needed to take the cart with me to the parking so it's easy for me to haul the things I bought. But she just said no you can't take the cart outside. Again, I asked her a favor if what if I can just bring the cart outside the door entrance because my car is just parked close to the store and she can actually see me if I bring the cart and so I don't go back and forth hauling the things I bought, but again she's not being considerate and told me no you can't bring the cart outside. And I have to actually haul my things back and forth at the door which is so bad she didn't even offer to help me even opening the door. She just looked at me and doesn't care to a customer. I have no time to discuss anymore with her so I just haul the things I've bought back and forth and needed to leave all the things I bought outside of the store, get my car and park it in front of the store and haul it again to my trunk. It's so bad that this lady (didnt get her name, since I'm on the rush) seems suspicious and treat customers like they wanna steal the cart because she won't let me. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a dress from this Ross just a few days ago; the tag was attached by the sensor, but I realized when I got home the cashier did not put the tag in the bag. It's not specified in the Ross return policy that I need a tag to return, but I also would rather not be hassled and frustrated for however long trying to sort everything out. Though I am still going to try, I am also not particularly comfortable with the cleanliness practices of this store- since I saw a few people walking around without masks (enforcement?) and whoever was on restock that day needed to do a few passes by the checkout line bc it looks like that's where everyone dumps the clothes they no longer want to purchase. The employees were polite, though. Can you believe none of this is why they got one star? They got one star for online customer service. After I went through all of the EXTRA steps and jumped through all the extra hoops asking what I should do with my return predicament above, all they did was email me a copy of the return policy. Like I don't have it. Like I didn't read it on my receipt and THEN go to the website and read it on there as well (I like to be thorough). Don't bother going to Ross listens, because she doesn't. Their answer indicated they didn't even READ THE MESSAGE I SENT! I still have zero answers. Wow. Me and California are not on the same page this time...

So I began to look as the store manager by the name of Amira Bujeda (not sure if that is correct spelling) watches my boyfriend the whole time we were in the store, even while we were standing in line waiting to pay for our items. As we were leaving we asked another employee for her name. She approaches and ask what the problem was. My boyfriend asked for name and stated that she was watching him the whole time we were in the store. She responds back, "No I wasn't" with an attitude and I informed her I will be reporting her to corporate she responds back to us, "OK" and walked away. I am very disappointed that this happened, it ruined our shopping experience and day. I watch this lady follow my boyfriend and other African-American customers as they entered the store. The only reason he was followed was because of the color of his skin. I am disgusted that Amira is the representation at Ross and its management. I have never felt so uncomfortable and horrible in my life. Needless to say, we will never return and will definitely share our experience...
