I am force to give this particular corporate a star in order to give my review. I am apluad with Sean who apparently has know sense of customer service skills and his ability to be kind. I never had attitude toward him as he accused. In fact he was the one who reached that personality in such a short period. He is a rude and unfurnished friend to the Verizon customers and community. He really upsetted me only because of his lack of service and with the world all gone bad it would be nice to get human kindness.
Sean with the bearded face obviiusly is clueless to that. Here is why I came in the store I came in with the intention to purchase a phone. After leaving the a Authorize Verizon store uptown I decide to go corporate herr in emeryville because I learnt they don't charge certain fees.
I've been a loyal customer for years with Verizon and I've avoid going into this particular Verizon store bcuz of poor customer service from the pass by guess who the same person.
I ask him what's the difference between corporate and Authorize dealer? He said with sarcasm that's the difference.
Well I knew the answer becuz I had already did research to my question.
I asked him to have small chat. He was straight and poker face mean.
I just want to add to what I know now base on past and today recent experience about the difference. Corporate is a team of unlikely to have a great experience and Authorize are much more friendlier, relaxed and helpful. Sean you are a hairy Idiot!!!

Read moreI just called the store in my city for help and was given little help but told to come in with my phone. I said ok, but I then said I wanted to lodge a complaint about how the customer support line is so deficient that, for example, you can be stranded and your phone is out of service for some length of time and you need to pay your bill. You CAN'T because of "technical difficulties...please try your call later." When you do that you get the same message. YOU CAN'T EVEN TALK TO A REAL PERSON TO GET SOME ADVICE!!!. This happened to me on my vacation to Oregon when I had a problem with my phone, something about not being paid up or something...due to the length of time it was not paid, the account was inactivated. BUT COULD I GET IT REACTIVATED??? NO!!! I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL I GOT BACK HOME BECAUSE THERE WERE NO VERIZON OUTLETS IN THE CITY OF BAKER, OR!!!! I COULD'VE BEEN STRANDED ON THE DESERT HIGHWAY WITH NO PHONE SERVICE...AND ALL I COULD GET WAS 'WE'RE HAVING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES; TRY YOUR CALL AGAIN LATER"!!! BY THAT TIME I COULD'VE BEEN DEAD!!!! I'M SORRY, BUT THIS S-T-I-N-K-S. THEY NEED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY...BUT I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THEY WILL!!! I also agree with another complaint by another customer about how they dump on the lower level employees and expect them to clean up the mess/problems without upper level guidance or assistance. It is definitely an unfair system in that respect. So watch out if you want to get an entry level job with Verizon. Look forward to being dumped on by lazy, arrogant upper level employees!!! I was told i’d get an immediate $1000 trade in credit for each eligible phone i turned in - so we turned in 2 perfect condition iphone 14 pro max’s we were told that we would get $1000 on each line for each device. My boyfriend asked Jacob 3 times if we could pay the rest of the balance immediately (it would’ve been $200 each line) and he told us yes every single time we asked. Now that it’s been a number of months our $1000 trade in credit won’t show up on neither plan and they completely removed the device credit on one of the devices i’ve called customer service over 5 times and each time they swear up and down that they fixed it but it never gets fixed and we tried to pay the $200 device balance but first it doesn’t exist.. and we were told it wouldn’t be $200 it would be $1,200 .. AVOID THIS SCAMMING COMPANY AT ALL COSTS JACOB WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE
