This was a $143 order never shipped. Do not buy from this place. I placed 2 orders on Memorial Day May 26th. One order shipped promptly the next day. I noticed that my second order never shipped, so I call the store. The person answered said they couldn't help me I would have to email. I figured they saw two orders to the same address and packed them together so I waited 3 days for the package to arrive. It was just the first order. I called again and was again told that I could not be helped, I would have to email. So, I emailed. The next day I got a response that they would look into it, but that all orders don't ship at the same time. I responded that I appreciate their help, and while I understood that it was not normal for an order to not ship within 5 business days. All items showed in stock online. I asked that my order be expedited. Then no response for three days. I continued to email inquiring about my order and call the store. No email response for three days and the store kept telling me they couldn't help. Finally I got the manger on the phone, because they happened to answer. The previous times I requested to speak to a manager I was flatly refused. The manger told me that he couldn't directly help, but would reach out to his counterpart in the warehouse on my behalf. This was June 5th. The next morning, early I received an email again saying they would look into it. Since then, no email response. Though I have continued to email asking about my order. I have also continued to call the store and spoke to the manger again, now in this phone call discovering that he is actually the co-owner along with the shipping manager. He told me that I would just have to deal with it until the next week because of the Final Fantasy release was more Important and that that was their priority. Today is June 9th, my order still has not shipped. I have still not been told why either. June 10th: order never shipped. They never gave me an explanation why. I called the store again June 9th after 5pm and was once again told someone was "looking into it". I responded with that by the next morning, June 10th, if my order had not shipped or my bank account did not reflect a full refund that I would be filing a police report, and then seeking further legal actions. Later that night I received a full refund, but still no answer as to why all this happened. This is a terrible business with terrible customer service. Update June 11th. I received an apology email and they said that they had sent out three of the items I ordered free of charge as a gift. Update June 16th I received 4 of the items I had...
Read moreStore is good for sealed product, the environment and people are good. Prizing is not good for both yugioh and magic in the higher brackets. Specifically first and second prizing has a massive difference for tournaments that make it so that there are two players with a 3-0 score, leaving prizing up to chance for the first place and second place prize. When first usually gets over/roughly double of second place prizing it leaves a bad taste. I also recently preregistered for their Final Fantasy prerelease and did not receive product I PAID for as I was sick on Friday, I tried picking it up the next day as I assumed it would be saved for me but it was just sold to someone else. I was told I would get this replaced but not being able to get my prerelease packs during the week of defeats the point. The One Piece players had boycotted the store to make a change to their prizing.
EDIT: After weeks of going back in forth not only did I not get my packs, but I was not reimbursed in any way for my preordered prerelease. The reason given was that I pre-ordered a ticket not product, despite the price having an implicit price increase to account for the product you were to receive.
Again I understand not being present for a prerelease means a forfeit in a seat, but I feel quite disrespected as a regular. I was not reimbursed in anyway despite doing a preorder register, and despite several opportunities for a compromise or solution, (such as a percentage back in store credit, given packs in lieu of the prerelease bundle, giving those who did not preregister loose packs instead of reserved prelease kits.) Read moreI preordered 2 cases of Surging Sparks sleeved pack from Saga, and it said “expected to release and ship on Nov 8”.
On Nov 8, nothing updated so I emailed them but no answer so I called store, which the person at store said they “will send my words to the person who in charge of online orders”. Finally i got email back from them, which said they only have 1 case and waiting for the next allocation to come. Back and forth, they agreed to ship me 1 case first and another case will ship when they receive their allocation. (And yes no apologize for didnt reach me in the beginning or anything)
They shipped first case on Nov 13 and I received it, but that’s all and never heard anything from them again. Until last week (which is already a month from what they supposed to fulfill me) I didn’t see any updates, so I emailed them with no answer again. I called store, and all they said is “they will send my words to person in charge of online orders,” and promised “I’ll get my answer by Monday lastest.” Which it’s tuesday and still no answer.
I don’t mind to wait, but it’s really stressful that I didn’t get any updates nor they even bother to reach out/answer me at all. I don’t know what’s their allocation, but they must be oversold their stock (as they have their stock availability when I preordered it).
