Poke Crew (Englewood) — Restaurant in Englewood

They fell off hard! I’m giving you a 1 out of 5 on the Englewood restaurant but I still have hope that the owners will turn around the quality of the restaurant! I thought that it was even better than Hawaii poke but now I have to take that back. The fish once fresh and meaty is now stale and soft! The staff once wearing mask and changing their gloves every bowl now you have to literally beg them to wear gloves while they talk over your food complaining in Spanish that your asking them to wear gloves! Staff is now rude and look at you angry for them to simply put on their gloves I didn’t even bother to ask them to mask up which is what many restaurants still do! Seeing that this is raw fish and all. Sad to say this is probably my last time going there after faithfully going for over 2 or 3 years now. My wife was happier with her bowl but appalled when I told her they didn’t have gloves on. The black guy that use to be there was excellent and I don’t see him anymore. Also the owners use to be there often I haven’t seen them in almost a year. Plus they don’t do the uniform (police/military discount anymore) very disappointed. I put them on a pedestal now I have to tell family and friends to stay away! Please get back to quality control before you guys lose more customers! This could be a big company if you and tough on your quality control like McDonald’s or chipotle, or you can keep letting it lag and go the way...

Very good! This was both lunch and dinner for me, so I splurged and got the build your own with double protein. Went with brown rice, salmon, crabmeat salad, tobiko, avocado, corn, seaweed salad, and spicy mayo. Not sure what my wife got, but she opted for no rice and just more lettuce, which wasn't a bad idea. In any case, the service is friendly, the food is quite good, the decor's not bad. I personally would've preferred (and found it more comfortable) if the place had actual tables & booths as opposed to all stools at counters, but I can see that in their seating decision they opted to make good use of the space. It keeps a clean, open-space look that way. Price-wise, the "$$" is pretty accurate. As is pretty typical when it comes to Englewood, this restaurant's in a nice spot, an area where if you have the time and energy, it definitely accommodates an after dinner stroll. This sort of Asian fusion theme is catching on, as well it should. It's more than a trendy gimmick, this is solidly good food. And perhaps most important of all for me, it made the wife happy! As I watched her obviously enjoying selecting what she wanted in her bowl, I already had a pretty good hint that this place was win. I can definitely recommend it. ...

On Dec 17th I had a really good experience not like the week before that on Wednesday, where A manager (woman) was screaming bright red on the face to another girl in front of everyone, if I'm right this girl was still learning everything and this manager didn't have any patience or any kind of way to express this girl about the "mistake" that she made, I didn't even came to the front because I was so surprised and embarrassed in how this woman could be so mean and so disrespectful to a crew member. On Dec 17th there was another manager, a man, and a girl with glasses and brown hair, and they were so kind and servicial. I asked for the other girl that was screamed by the other manager and they told me that she left, which made me feel so bad about her and the kind of treatment the owners are giving to their crew, I have been coming to this place a lot lately and everytime this two amazing people serve me, I receive the best of services is just amazing for me to see how they're so lovely and caring with every detail in my order, I hope they're being treated nicely, because if they leave I will probably...
