Went to eat here on 4/14/24 after my daughter's martial arts class. When we got there, we requested outside seats because my daughter preferred it. Food was good but service was bad.
We were seated and since we've eaten here before, we gave our order right away. We asked for ice water, a chocolate fondant, and a Benedict a La Florentine. Our server gave us us the chocolate fondant right away. My daughter and I shared it right away. A different server came out to take care of the table next to us, and checked on us. It was only 8-10 mins and we told her were just waiting for the rest of our food. After 20 mins, we still didn't receive the rest of our order so we went inside.
Granted the servers at the counter were courteous and apologized. They tracked down our server, she went into the kitchen, came back out and told us to wait longer.. I told them at this point, I didn't want the order anymore.
So with a missing order and nothing to drink. I paid for the chocolate chocolate fondant, our server rang us up. I was waiting for my receipt but was never given one. I signaled for it but she only said "It's paid, it's done." We ended up leaving with missing order, nothing to drink, and a missing receipt. We ended up getting a drink at the juice bar a couple of doors down.
We've eaten here 5-6 times before and this was our worst experience. I don't recommend eating outside because we were forgotten by our server who also had tables inside.

We ate there again today, 4/21/24. Today was a little chilly so we ate inside.
We had the same server as previous. My daughter and I ate there discretely and I am very happy to say that our service was great despite being on the tail end of the lunch rush. Like I said before, the food is excellent.

Tried to support our local business and enjoy the beautiful day with a walk to Patisserie Florentine turned out to be a nightmare. After being seated immediately after we arrived I was expecting the service to be just as good but what a rude awaking I got after. We waited over 10 minutes for a server to even acknowledge our table only after we waved him down. He took our order and 15 minutes later comes our coffee and water. Still optimistic we sipped our coffee pretty slow anticipating the food to arrive shortly. After an additional 30 minutes waiting I decided to flag our waiter and ask about our food, he response was it should be the next order up. Not sure what that meant since I saw about 4 more orders come out the kitchen and nothing for us. After waiting another 15 minutes and close to feeling faint we just had to go. The cashiers only response was, "the kitchen was backed up". Well if I would've known that before telling me our food was one order away maybe I could've mentally prepared myself but their was no update at all the whole time we were there. Food looks great just too bad we have to be there 3 hours to try it.
Word of advice, if you are going to try this place make sure you don't go hungry and have no where else to go the whole day. Don't think I would try this...

While the food quality was decent, with some dishes being tasty and well-prepared, there was a significant issue that detracted from the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, during our meal, we noticed a small cockroach on the table, which was a major hygiene concern and very off.
We ordered Benedict a La Florentine and egg whites Omelette Royale ok at best. What it stands out was the Caffe Late, but who can mixed up a coffee?? However, the sighting of the insect overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal and left me feeling uneasy about the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.
While I understand that isolated incidents can occur in any establishment, the presence of a cockroach on the table is a serious issue that should be addressed promptly to ensure the health and safety of customers. I hope that Patisserie Florentine takes immediate action to address this issue and improve their pest control measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
