Salad House — Local services in Englewood

Update: August 2024 And SH is Still skimping on portions of the proteins. Paying $6.00 for 4 pieces of shrimp is ridiculous. Today was my last straw. This place is no longer worth it, unfortunately.

Typically I would make my way over to SG in Hackensack after my workout but one day I was just too tired and figured I’d “settle” for Salad House. Now whenever I’m not nearby Englewood, I feel like I’m settling for SG. Much better and more consistent portions here, no having to guess if your container is going to be half full but I will say the salmon add-on is very thin for $6. Even though I give it a 4 stars, I wish I can give it 3.5 stars. Great location. I really like all the options they have, so I will be coming back to try different items, my only take away is the poor system of waiting for your food after ordering - there really is no wait area

and what made me really give the score was the portion size they give you...it does not match for the amount it cost. I got a Sweet Heat - very delicious but so small for $10.

The girl at the counter is extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of providing great customer service she never greeted me, she didn’t listen to my order that I had to repeat several times, she made a mistake with my order. She gave me massive attitude. She stood behind the counter talking with her coworkers who’ve all of them were on their phone and more occupied by gossiping and laughing instead of helping me with my order.
