I have a great appreciation for Filipino food, so I was excited to visit this Filipino market and restaurant near where we stayed. While we didn’t go there to shop, I noticed the store was fairly well-stocked and organized, which was nice to see.

That said, the facility did seem a bit rundown, and the dining area wasn’t particularly inviting. However, the food itself was decent, and the flavors delivered a taste of authentic Filipino cuisine.

Would be a 1-star if this were a chain store. Bowled over by a super strong smell of rotten fish upon entering. I prefer supporting local businesses when possible but I think for something like seafood, high turnover is necessary to guarantee freshness.
