
If I could do a negative star review I would! This is in regards to the salon Manager Sage Gonzalez. She treated my students and myself terribly today. I am a Master Educator of Cosmetology and took my students to visit the facility so they could see what suite rental looks like. Now where I went wrong is I didn’t call first to schedule an appointment, my barbers had been there a few days prior and were treated kindly, they didn’t schedule before hand. She rudely stated we couldn’t be there without an appointment , and said we weren’t welcome there. I said I understood but she didn’t have to be rude about it. I asked for her direct managers information and she said “her name is Noelle, I’ll let her know you came by” I then proceeded to ask for “Noelle” email so I could reach out to her. I have been in the industry for 25 years, traveled and taught all over the US. I have NEVER been treated so badly by one of “my own “ who shares my craft. In my 25 years I have met some very impressive people and the one take back I get from all of them is to NEVER BURN BRIDGES in the BEAUTY INDUSTRY. With all the students I come in contact with daily, they will all know that I will NEVER RECOMMEND SALON REPUBLIC to them for rental. I have some students (licensed now) that currently rent there. I will make sure they know how I was treated by the manager Sage Gonzalez. I would hate for my students I care for so deeply , to lose clientel due to a terrible...
Read moreMy wife went to see Landa several times. Each time Landa did an amazing job with the exception of last weeks appointment. Landa colored my wife’s hair the wrong color (not a big deal) but also messed up my wife’s hair pretty bad to where my wife had to go see someone else and chop over 10 inches off to correct it. Landa said she would fix it but never did. The hair and coloring cost 270 dollars. Once my wife realized Landa who admitted in messages that the hair needed fixed, wasn’t going to fix it she requested a refund for which she still has not received. Landa proceded to get on Instagram and complain about my wife for requesting a refund. Point blank period Landa admitted she messed up the hair but would not give a refund or fix it. Before that my wife raved about how well she does. Very unprofessional of her. Would not recommend based off of those circumstances. She typically does well and has talent for her profession but needs to learn that she messed up and needs to value the costumer and fix when she messes up or refund the customer. Which She did not.
