Target — Local services in Escondido

This was my worst and last experience at this store. I went in for Black Friday, and aside from people not paying attention to other shoppers and the direction they’re walking in, my experience was mostly fine while shopping.

However, the women / employee at the checkout lane was awful. She spent maybe 15-20 minutes on one customer with maybe 10-14 items while periodically pausing to take a drink from her cup. Eventually after waiting for those 12 minutes, I switched lanes to the employee on the left of her. However, while standing there, this lady turns around and starts literally coughing on me with a manager watching it and patting her on the back saying while laughing, “Are you okay?”

This was the most disgusting thing to have a random person do, just for the manager to tolerate and ask me to check out at the customer service and return section.

However, the gentleman at the service desk was ironically the best part of the experience and even price matched my item.

However, I will not be coming back here ever and will resort to the location off Via Rancho Parkway/North County Westfield. That lady was disgusting and a lousy reflection of Target, Inc. Same goes for the lazy manager

I visited store 0274 and i was helped by two young men Ian and Isreal they were extremely nice and helpful and i really appreciated how quick and friendly they were I would like to say that i was extremely disappointed in target itself this particular store does not have any area in front of the store that provides shade for the employee so because the store requires an employee to be outside at all times to do the car pickup this poor young man was standing in the heat the whole time This store is located in California it is 82 outside at 4pm and not only did he not have shade he is not allowed to have his water outside Out of concern i asked him why there was no shade provided for him he did let me know that at one point there was a tent provided but because it kept breaking they decided to not have it out. It is April in California it's only going to continue to get hotter i feel that it is unacceptable for a store to treat there employees like this shade and water should be provided for employees required to stay outside Even with the heat where he was clearly sweating Ian provided exceptional customer service and smiled the whole time Please treat your employees better and provided them...

Karina, Andy and Raymond were wonderful. I was standing in line at the cash register when I decided I wanted a cold drink. I accidentally dropped the bottle and the glass shattered, spilling everything. I was so embarrassed. Karina walked up to me and let me know that everything was ok. Raymond cleaned it immediately. Karina even encouraged me to get another drink and not to worry about the spill. Andy was helpful at the checkout. He was friendly and wanted to make sure that I had great customer service. This made my mistake less awkward.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to the target employees. It has been an interesting year. you can depend on the employees to still over a smiling face. Target is one of the last shopping places or experiences where you can feel at least of bit of normalcy- where the shopping experience doesn't seem overwhelming and unsafe.
