I came in for an eye exam that I scheduled recently & filled out the paperwork & handed over my Cigna insurance card. After waiting the assistant handed me back my cards & said I needed to call my insurance as it was not approved. Seemed strange that they could not help me but I had no time. Customer service is gone these days. That night I called another Optometrists Office & they had me approved for a $10 copay via. my insurance and I scheduled the appointment at their competitor and was seen quickly.
I returned back to LensCrafters only because my frames/lenses I purchased have been defective and needed to be replaced now for the 3rd time. Meaning they start to have the anti glare coating actually etch to best explain it. I took them in today around 10:30am and told them they were so bad I needed them replaced because I was having issues seeing and blurred vision. The floor manager was helpful and said they would be done in 2-3 hours, beings they are my only pair I was anxious to have them back so in roughly that time I called to check on them as I was also leaving town and the person on the phone said they would take a few more hours, then actually corrected and said end of day meaning 7pm. Because this was an issue of health I callled back to talk to a manager and was sent directly to there lab technician. I explained my story & he said he had about 15 orders in front of mine. I asked if they took priority for issues of mine & he replied no, but he could get my order complete for me to help out since I was having issues. He said just come back in about an hour. I returned and asked for my glasses. I could see the lady in the lab and after some deliberation the same floor manager returned back to me and said that the machine they use to cut the lenses was broken and they wouldn't know how long it would take until it would be fixed so gave me back my glasses since I was leaving town. I do not feel this was honest & this was the response I received because of a lack of communication. So I walked out confused and once again disappointed in the store. I am going to wait for my my call to return so my lenses can be replaced under warranty but not sure when? I don't know? But I will NEVER buy another pair of glasses from LensCrafters. They have inferior product that they do not seem to understand. You feel like a number in a giant...

I returned to LenCrafters after trying Stanton Optical. Stanton was fine but just not the same professionalism that you get at LensCrafters. The eye exam is face to face with an optometrist, NOT a virtual appointment with someone in Florida. I went to Escondido CA where Dr Ashlee Rich not only gave me an extensive eye exam but gave me a health screening based on eye health! I walked out in tears from learning I don’t have macular degeneration compared to 5 years ago, my retinas are very healthy, my blood flow indicates no issues with hypertension and the optic nerve looked very healthy!!! I’m 69 years old! Believe me, that meant allot to me! She was so kind, I told the store manager, Nicole, who was very appreciative and said everybody loved her, Then too Vanessa for choosing glasses and fitting to my face. She didn’t do what y places do and let me think every glass i picked looked good. My decision but sheet really helped! Again so kind and patient. They will hate me for saying this, but I got my glasses in 2 days. Andrea presented my glasses, made sure I got what I expected, fitting correctly and getting time vision expectation I wanted. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I thought the pricing was high so I compared to Stanton! Less money at LensCrafters for what i wanted! There was worth every Penny! What a great team...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had the worse experience here at this store. The assistant manager Robert was not welcoming what’s so ever, made it a huge deal for us to shop or try on glasses and just made us few very uncomfortable. He was the manger with the short blond hair. Everything he said was negative about what glasses we wanted to try or buy. Gave us no alternatives to the glasses that he said will not work. I honestly don’t know how this guy is an assistant manager here.We only grabbed 3-4 glasses for her to try on and after each one he would come and say “like I said please only grab the ones you would like to buy”…… My girlfriend left this store so Discouraged with the glasses we wanted to Buy for her. We’re not ones to leave bad reviews but this guy was horrible.
When we went to the mall to keep Shopping and went to the lens crater there, and it was the most wonderful experience ever!! 10/10 will I recommend that store, the manager Alma went above and beyond to help us find glasses for my Girlfriend. The original ones we found at the other Escondido store were at this place and she made it work. That robert from the other store is just lazy and should not be an assistant manager. Thank you so much alarma!! She loves...
