5 Star Nails — Local services in Essex

I have no respect for nail technicians who take a advantage of the elderly. So my mother made a appointment on Monday and wanted to try a new salon closer to home. I wish she would’ve got the ladies name. She told me she felt very uncomfortable & rushed when she would mention about the leaves the lady kept saying no there fine there fine! I am a over the road truck driver and came home Wednesday and she proceeds to tell me what happened & I take a look at her nails & there horrible like a kid did them. My mom mentioned that the leaves were sticking up and the lady kept saying no no no. My mom tells me she thought maybe her eyes was seeing wrong because she left her glass’s at home & has semi-bad vision due to her getting older. The lady that did her nails honestly is lucky I don’t go up there for the way they treated her & made her feel & the trashy nail job they did but honestly it’s not even worth the energy but I will write this review & post it in Dundalk page on facebook & tell my friends to not...

A Family owned business. They are great people; very friendly & considerate. The best time to go is during the week, in the afternoon. Their prices are reasonable and whenever I want a specific nail design, they always get it right. I wish they offered you a drink, even if it's just soda or water. They don't offer anything like that. The only real criticism I have is when it comes to the pedicures: they have about 3 different ones to choose from but they each are the same. They don't leave the hot towels on for more than 10 seconds which costs extra and they only massage your legs for about 10 seconds. So if you go for a pedi, I recommend the $30 one.
