Heyday Vintage Collective — Local services in Evanston Township

First off, if you want as much variety as possible I’d go to crossroads nearby first. Definitely larger. This place had some very cool niche stuff though, specifically a huge Citizen Kane poster! ($40, Shown in image). I was at a summer program and one of my instructors had recently shown us the movie and said he loved it, and I bought it for him and everyone ended up chipping in and signing it. He loved it :D. I also got a sick sweater: 1999 vintage Warner bros with a bunch of classic cartoon characters sewn into the front, olive green. it was my first time shopping here and it was not the least bit enjoyable lmao. as soon as i walked in there were 2 people sitting on a bench that was near the register and the woman who was working told them to get up and went on about how they were sitting behind the register and asked them if they would do the same at target. i genuinely thought she was joking but she was so dead serious. i didn’t even end up buying anything because i was scared to even touch the clothes the wrong way 😭

Good selection but unaffordable. $35 for clearly worn (some were visibly dirty) hats. 40 for hoodies and sweaters, 20-25 for some shirts. Some nice pieces but unrealistic prices.
