Since other reviewers felt the same way, I know Iâm not alone! The female owner doesnât like honoring coupons. Mine stopped arriving in the mail and she refused to give me the âmemberâ discount even though she can look up my account and see all my past purchases (which shows Iâm a good customer) and see that I havenât used a monthly coupon yet. When youâre buying the most expensive raw dog food a small discount when your coupon doesnât show up would be just plain nice and good customer service. The food I needed for a dog with digestive issues was not in stock and I was rushed near closing because I had to read labels to find a second choice that was safe for my dog. I can order in stock food online and get a discount, plus free delivery. I was trying to support a local business but wonât bother anymore. She couldâve thrown me a bone with a measly $6 discount but instead she lost a customer and a lot more than $6 in future business. Customer service is not rocket science, sometimes it just comes down to simple math. UPDATE - the below response from the business is total BS. I did go back and the female owner did the same thing!!!! This time I was buying 3 dog beds, dog food and bird supplies. Still wouldn't honor the coupon AGAIN, so I walked out and gave my business elsewhere. I have not been back since. Also, the bird food I previously bought, from the self serve canisters, was infested with moths that took me months to remove from my house. They did nothing about their bird food supply after I told them this which means other customers had the same moth problem and they didn't care. The husband owner seemed nice when the store first opened (and his wife wasn't there) but the wife is horrible! However, he just stood and watched the last time as his wife lost a big sale and my business forever. He did nothing! Maybe next time he'll pull a Will...
Read moreIâve literally have spent over $10,000 at this store. I arrived today at 8:40 am not knowing what time they open, as I pulled in the parking spot I seen the door was open. By the time I got out my car the door was closed. I went to the door expecting it to open as normal but it didnât (me thinking maybe the door is broken I opened it manually) I literally just seen it open. I walk in the store see no one at the register I called out several times is anybody here (which can clearly be viewed on the camera system) at this point I become concerned because my concerned because my cousin also works here. I head towards the back only to be greeted by a disgruntle employee who clearly doesnât know how to talk to human beings. Clearly I didnât come to rob the place if Iâm asking if youâre open but this guy flew of the hinges telling I shouldnât have open a door that was clearly opened. If you donât want anyone in the store lock the door is the simple answer.Maybe he would have been more kind and nicer about the situation if I was anything other than a black male with a mask on. But needless to say I will never come back to this...
Read moreDescent variety, and employees very helpful, and friendly. Problem I have is the fact that sale items I am specifically there to buy are never in stock, and still not in stock a week or two later. Given the fact that PetSmart will price match same item, why bother going back and wasting my time, and gas. Also, don't offer any samples of anything they sell, which is to me flat out ridiculous when I am left having to invest a small fortune on a huge bag of dry cat food my cats will most likely take one sniff of, and turn their noses up at. They do offer you to return item for refund, or to choose something else, but call me lazy. Rather not bother with all that. I wind up with a bunch of bags for donation at local shelter instead. The Pet Supplies Plus in Indiana has many, many free samples, which is why I was excited to see one open here in Evanston. Disappointed for sure. Never see anyone in there when I'm there either so that tells me I am not the only one disappointed. The sample thing just seems like common sense to me, and ordering double amount of sale item common...
