Tapestry Station — Local services in Evanston Township

I am overall very pleased with tapestry station! I love the cabinetry and over all modern feel of the apartment building as a whole. It is very safe with the livvly key system and I love that my guest can have their own key within the given time period during the day. I also really like the study/mail room! Evanston is a very cute community and there is so much to do, see, and eat in walking distance! There were a few bumps when I first moved in such as the air conditioner not working for a few days, a leak in my closet, and the washing machine not working but.. they were smoothed out and alleviated in a somewhat timely manner. Yvette was extremely helpful when my washing machine was not working for a while and she assured me she would figure out how to get me to wash my clothes and she was even nice enough to allow me to wash in an unoccupied unit as she called around. Amanda also was very helpful and nice during my leasing process being sure to show me the units via face time and countless emails about me going back and forth between units lol. Just wanted to share a slightly different perspective based on my own recent experience: About contacting the office – I noticed that phone calls usually get forwarded to voicemail, so I found that emailing them is actually the fastest way to get a response. Holiday timing – The management office was closed for a couple of days recently due to a public holiday, so slower responses during that time are understandable. Application peak season – It’s currently the peak application period, and there are a lot of students applying, so some delays and competition are probably inevitable. It’s a stressful time, but I think some patience goes a long way. My experience with Amanda – I’ve personally found Amanda, the manager, to be very warm, responsive, and patient when I reached out via email. She took time to answer my questions clearly and helped me navigate the process.

I just moved into Tapestry Station and overall, it’s been a great experience. The building is basically brand new and the apartments are modern, clean. I especially love the roof.

The location is super convenient—right by both Metra and the CTA, with coffee shops, restaurants, and even the lake/beach all within walking distance. It’s honestly one of the most walkable neighborhoods I’ve ever lived in.

The application process. A take a little time, but definitely worth the wait.
