We ended up trying this place since it was a little late and the restaurant we originally planned on closed unexpectedly early. That was fortunate, because we had an excellent dinner here! I got the half-size Mexicali Bowl with pork, which was delicious -- it was pulled pork, and really tender and juicy. Plenty of veggies and beans in there as well. Prices tend to be fairly high here, but the half-size Mexicali Bowl is very reasonably priced, and still a decent portion. My wife got the pozole, which she enjoyed, but it was a bit too spicy for her. Atmosphere is festive, and there's a lot of seating (including an outdoor patio). Hostess and waitstaff were uniformly friendly and efficient. We'll come here again! Update: This place continues to be our favorite restaurant in downtown Exeter. It's consistently good, always with friendly service. The last time I went, I got the loco moco, which rivaled authentic loco moco I've gotten in Hawaii!

I am a fan of the Portsmouth Street so I thought 🤔 I would give this one a try. To my surprise, there was parking 🅿️ out front on a Friday night. But it didn't last long. I was fortunate to find a seat 🪑 at the bar 🍻. As soon 🔜 as I left, it was taken! Service was very friendly. All of the bartenders were polite and smiled. I had a short wait for my meal but a longer wait for my dessert. I had the Fish 🐟 Taco and the Empanada. Both tasted good but portion to price was low. But, inflation and it is downtown Exeter. The dessert was Key Lime Tartlet. My only issue with the service was that I wasn't given any utensils or napkins. I know it was appetizers but I usually get them at other restaurants. I did get a utensil with dessert. They have WiFi but the password they gave me didn't work. The music 🎶 wasn't loud 🔊, which is good 👍! The menu has my curiosity so I will return. If you go, go early! Especially on a Friday night!

My family and I crave Street curry fries. They are that good! We used to drive all the way to Portsmouth from Derry but now we go to Exeter. It's a nicer drive and food quality is about the same. We always start with an order of curry fries with extra curry mayo. That alone is worth the drive. My usual order is the bibimbap with beef. It's a perfect dish with lots of flavor and texture. I decided to try the pho tonight. Big mistake. The broth was weak and barely tasted like a beef broth and definitely lacking all the seasoning that I would expect. The worst was that I got 2 little meatballs and 2 1/2 slices of beef in the entire bowl. I guess that's fine since it didn't taste great. Rest of my family enjoyed their meals: porchetta sandwich was really flavorful and the pork was tender; the burger was good; the 1/2 Mexicali bowl was fine too. Next time I'll stick with my usual.

We decided to try Street tonight for dinner and were super excited. Unfortunately, our excitement was ill met. I will say that the dumplings were delicious and really the only reason this got above one star, though I think $15 for three rather small dumplings and some cauliflower is a bit much.

We ordered a second round of drinks when our dinner arrived, only to be halfway through when they actually arrived. I’d understand if it was super busy, but this was more due to all of the waitresses hanging out at the hostess stand dancing while our drinks sat on the bar and when we were waiting on the check.

Further, when my wife’s banh mi sandwich with the fake chicken came out, we were horrified. We expected something more than some frozen fake chicken nuggets stuffed between bread with a slice of cucumber, a sprinkle of daikon and some sauce. She isn’t vegetarian and asked for the pate, but it was left off. The sandwich was dry, frankly not good and a rip at $17.

But the real kicker was when we asked for a to go cup as she had a mock tail and the waitress brought it over only to drop the lid on the floor at our table, pick it up and then hand it to my wife expecting her to use it. Not only is this a health hazard, but it sets an image that they don’t care what hits the floor. We wanted so bad to like this place as it seems like a fun restaurant with an interesting menu, but the lid was just kind of the last straw in a list of problems. But I will say the hibiscus mock tail was...

Street in Exeter is a culinary adventure that shouldn't be missed. From the moment you step inside, the vibrant atmosphere and enticing aromas set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The diverse menu, inspired by global street food, offers a tantalizing array of dishes, each bursting with bold flavors. One of the highlights is the Bibimbap, a Korean rice bowl topped with a colorful assortment of vegetables, a perfectly cooked egg, and your choice of protein. The harmony of flavors and textures in every bite is truly remarkable. Another standout is the crispy Brussels sprouts, tossed in a tangy, spicy sauce that adds a satisfying crunch to the dish. The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring an eclectic selection of craft cocktails, local beers, and fine wines. The knowledgeable and attentive staff can guide you through the menu, offering expert recommendations to pair with your meal. While reservations are highly recommended, the waitstaff is efficient and friendly, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking for a delicious meal, Street in Exeter is sure to satisfy...
