I have given this once beloved restuarant so many chances but am now so disappointed and upset that I am revising my earlier review below.
While I understand that supply chain issues, employee turnover and inflation are all issues restuarants have to deal with, we as consumers do as well and while I could understand the crazy increasing prices, I cannot abide the dwindling amount of food bieng served and the quality of the cook. Today, I received what has to be the smallest salmon fillet ever recorded. Honestly, 2 oz. Tops. In addition, it and our Lobster Rangoon appetizer (which was also shy two customary pieces) was burned. Tried calling the restuarant...no answer and no ability to leave a voicemail. $25.00 for 2 oz of salmon, four stalks of asparagus, a side of white rice and some sauce? 14.00 for six burned rangoons? Mind you, these are dishes we have ordered from Capital Thai consistently in the past and thus know full well what the dishes should contain and how they should be cooked. Shame on whomever decided this was acceptable food and delivery customers be warned.
Khaophums has proven to be a solid choice for local Thai and that is where we will be going from now on.

While I have yet to actually dine in at this restaurant, I have dined frequently via Door Dash and this has got to be the best Thai restaurant I have visited. If you like Pad Thai, you will LOVE it after trying it from Capital Thai. Out of this world! The Choochee Salmon is also amazing and a regular go to for me. Some other great mentions have to include the Lobster Rangoon (yes, dip it in the sauce that comes with it-so good) and the steamed pork buns. There are many more dishes that are so good. Honestly, you cannot miss with this place....
Read moreI started my meal experience at a 4, and it kept going downhill from there. The food generally was not worth the money. In fact, we had regretted going there and wasting money. The following led to such a low rating: The restaurant wasn't particularly clean. The booth seats were worn out and looked dirty. The boba teas had old boba in them, you could tell they had been sitting for a long time. No kids meals, which makes this not a very kid-friendly place, especially for picky eaters. The order for our daughter was misunderstood, and when we tasted it knowing she wasn't going to eat it, it was cold and unappetizing. A waste of $19. My husband's crying thaiger was undercooked, extremely fatty, and made him sick for the rest of the night. My sausage was old, tasted like it was either overcooked, or reheated.
Hopefully this place improves, but I figured I'd give feedback knowing that there is a lot of room to improve, especially for the price. I really like the different menu items compared to your typically Thai restaurant, but since we go to a lot of Thai restaurants, we also know when they don't hit the...
Read moreIt’s really something when my first Google review is such a scathing one like this.
Very bad experience during a pleasant dinner with my gals. When we were seated, our table had many food particles that we had to brush off the table. There were also no utensils. Makes me think that the table wasn’t cleaned and was left in its nasty state when we sat in it. Servers also took HALF AN HOUR to ask us for our DRINKS AND MEALS. Our drinks NEVER EVEN CAME, and we had to cancel them. Our meals came and for some reason none of the waiters realized we didn’t have any utensils?? Not even a fork or napkin. We had to eat with our hands because our food was getting cold. My wedding ring was STAINED with the sauce! When we asked them for utensils, the waiter essentially slammed them down at our table and walked away. Meat in the soup was also very, VERY chewy. We never even got an appetizer that we ordered and one of my gals had to STARVE for an HOUR! We also saw SEVERAL tables leave that came AFTER we did. I will never be returning. Extremely disappointing service. Please do not go to this...
