(Long Review) Started looking for an engagement ring at the big box jewelry stores, being shown less than perfect diamonds for extremely too much. I wanted something really nice, but I didn’t want to pay the bumped-up profits that the big box stores offered. I turned to Craigslist, where I found ads for Skydell Design, offering great deals for high quality diamonds.

When I called, I was transferred to Jordan Skydell, who was very friendly and fabulous to work with. He made it clear that he could work with any budget. (which I though most people would appreciate)

He made it very clear that Skydell Design was a family business and that their reputation was everything in the world to him. His actions throughout our transaction represented just that.

We worked together to get the most from my budget and I have to say, he did an incredible job. The ring and band, were spectacular, still thousands less than the big box stores.

Buying online is super scary, however, he made sure that the transaction, was done right. I gave him my credit card information for a deposit to start creating my rings, however my card was not charged until the next day, showing me that they were not in a rush for my money. Not until the rings were finished, did he call and let me know and only then charged my card for the remaining balance.

I almost forgot, Jordan told me, that I could call him at any time. I called him many times, if I got voice mail he called back within minutes. I can’t tell you how much this eased my mind.

The rings were sent out Fed Ex Overnight, then the impossible happed, the package was lost or stolen. I can’t tell you how I felt, terrified that I would not have the engagement ring for our wedding, just a few weeks away.

Jordan reassured me that it was going to be ok, that he would make sure that I had my engagement/wedding rings. Long story short, he had new rings created and shipped to me less than a week after we spoke about the Fed Ex problem.

I would highly recommend Skydell Design to anyone looking for high quality, great prices and impeccable service.

I have nothing to say to Jordon other than Thank You, Thank You & Thank You. I live in the Bay Area, California and I don't really know exactly I found Skydell Designs especially for them being on the other side of the country in New Jersey but I guess it was faith that brought me to them. I decided to call anyways and spoke to Jordan on the other end. I told him what I was looking for and within minutes he sent me a few pictures and videos of the exact kind of diamond that I was looking for. The prices they had I not could find anywhere in California. When you have such good prices it's common to feel that something is wrong. I was extremely hesitant to proceed especially since I could not see the diamond in person with them being located on the other side of the Country. Because of his kind personality and the connection that I got with him right away I decided to proceed further with him to see what they have to offer. It took me a while to decide because I was trying to do a surprise proposal for my bride to be but he was very patient and gave me my space. I finally made my decision to purchase a 3.1 carat princess cut and after we signed the contract he overnighted the diamond to me right away. Sometimes in videos and pictures it's hard to tell what the diamond really looks like but he told me to trust him and that the diamond looks even better in person. I was pretty nervous but when It finally arrived I was like OMG! Smile form ear to ear, it was gorgeous. Super clear, super white, no yellow at all and shining like crazy. Really good cut. I had ordered the diamond from them but the setting from here in California so when I finally got it sized and fitted they did another appraisal with both the diamond and setting and the appraised value I got was actually even higher than the amount I had purchased from Skydell Design. That was the icing on the cake for me. I will be sending you many customers from all the way here in California. So Jordan again Thank You, Thank You &...

If I could give this company a million stars, I would. Five does not nearly suffice. Allow me to back up for a moment....my husband lost his parents in a tragic way a few years back. He was given his father's wedding band as a keepsake since the death, and was hoping to treasure it forevermore. Unfortunately, he did not get a chance to have it sized, so one summer afternoon, it slid right off his finger and onto the ground, never to be found again. Needless to say, he was absolutely heartbroken, we ALL were. How could he replace a one-of-a-kind, specially inscribed, gold wedding band such as his father's? Enter Skydell Design! From the moment I spoke to Jordan explaining our situation, to the day we received a new gold band, it was a magical experience. Jordan listened patiently to what I was describing, how the ring had to look, its weight, size, measurement, color- inscription!! There were so many moving pieces as it needed to look exactly like the original. One would think a gold ring is just a gold ring, but not so. A gold ring such as my husband's father's was truly a gem, not easy to replicate. In a sense it had a "soul", a story to tell, a family history unique unto itself. So, as one can well imagine, this in no way would be an easy feat.

After great anticipation, I am overwhelmed with emotion now to report, not only does the new ring look STUNNING, it is THE spitting image of the original (inscription too). The tears of joy that my husband wept when he received this ring, is the true barometer of the extraordinary experience we had with Skydell Design.
