I really wish I could give no stars for this place which is sad because not all the employees are rude and have disgusting attitudes but it seems like I always come here with my family and am VERY lucky to get the fabulous blonde haired girl with huge lips and long fake lashes that just always seems to be Sooooo excited to be at work ! With all the ppl who need work and would appreciate work she got lucky with her job but yet is miserable everyday at work . She not only is rude , miserable , but has 0 work ethics that is worth writing a good review on I never write reviews but she really left a bad taste in my mouth last time I was there. I was given a card by a sweet Spanish girl who explained for my 10 cup free use this card when you come and have it stamped and the 10th on is on Us ! So when I went with my kids and we went to use it not only did she turn her back to me and my husband to continue a personal conversation with someone eating food behind the register I would say was a friend But she denied us the free cup of yogurt stating that the card says $5 off the 10th cup and on the other side where itâs stamped it says 10th cup FREE soooo hmmm interesting, my question to her was so explain to me how that makes sense is it free or $5 off ??? She gave me an attitude and raised her voice and read it to me as if I was dumb and didnât know how to read, so that la when I addressed her and reminded her of how to speak to ppl properly and how she always has an attitude and needs to fix it ! She tryâs to explain the card that made no sense and denied the discount .. I bought the yogurt even tho Personally I shouldâve have bought anything because to be honest they donât deserve anyoneâs business and from reading all these reviews and seeing SO many ppl complain about the same girl and no action is taken clearly tells me this Cups manager whoever it is doesnât care about its costumers service or the costumers because they allow this trashy behavior . My recent encounter at Cups Frozen Yogurt in Fairlawn, NJ, left me compelled to share an utterly disappointing experience. The actions of an African American server were not only deeply disrespectful but also incredibly concerning.
Upon entering the store, I encountered a server whose behavior was beyond rude; it bordered on hostility. To my shock, he even went as far as expressing a desire to engage in physical altercation right there on the premises. His mockery of my English accent was insensitive and offensive, and he made it clear that he wanted to harm me physically while my three children stood witness to the entire ordeal. This incident was deeply distressing and far from the kind of environment I expect when bringing my children to a public place.
Despite being a loyal customer for almost five years, I was met with nothing but disdain. When I mentioned my intent to report his behavior, he laughed dismissively, stating that higher management wouldnât take any action. This disregard for customer concerns was disheartening, to say the least.
I am grateful that a kind lady was present to witness the shocking behavior of the server. I informed her that I considered her my witness to the unprofessionalism that transpired. Her presence offered some solace during an otherwise traumatic experience.
In conclusion, I feel compelled to caution potential patrons against visiting Cups Frozen Yogurt in Fairlawn, NJ. The behavior displayed by the server was beyond unacceptable and went against the principles of customer service and basic human decency.    Read moreI ventured into Cups about a week ago to get something sweet. However entering the store front there was a bunch of teenagers sitting in a back enclove. No one in the front though. Usually there is more of a staff presence. But not here. Then suddenly a young girl rushed to the front from the back. She seemed a little annoyed when I asked her if I could taste some of the flavors. Like I had intruded with whatever she was doing in the back part of the store.
We walked over to the soft serve, and she took her little cup which she took out of her pocket, seemed unsanitary she wasn't wearing any disposable gloves which if your super into hygeniene would be a zero on the ick factor.
Anyways going forward I decided I would pick two flavors and be done with it since I wasn't impressed with her attitude.
After I made my choice I asked her, what her name was and she said Abby. Well Abby your customer service skills lacked terribly especially when a customer can see how irritated you are that makes it worse for anyone about to purchase something, after they are treated badly.
Because everyone knows good news travels fast but bad news travels faster.
I then proceeded to let her know, that I would be writing a review. Not sure if that mattered on her rictor scale or work day. Anyways the frozen yogurt is good and that's possibly the only reason I would return in the future but definitely not for the service.
The gelato was also pretty good. Abby however you were nothing spectacular. You get what you pay for. Customer service with inexperienced workers brings bad business.
