As a loyal customer of Home Goods, my shopping experience was ruined by the lack of team culture and professionalism from what appeared to be from the leadership team. I really hope the Brand culture is different in other stores. As I made my way to the store to shop for some kitchen gadgets I came across two ladies that appeared to be managers attacking an employee for spending time using the bathroom. From what I witnessed they were upset because a customer was waiting to be served. As I appreciate the employees putting your customers first, you can't treat your employees like trash. They would let her even speak and what she tried to defend herself, one of the managers kept shush-ing her!. Very condescending, very degrading. Wow. Here is advice for the leaders, be better than that! Wow. Your employees deserve privacy when having coaching conversations! And also listen to them. Advice for the employee, call HR or take a partner with a leader that will take the time to treat you like a human being...
