My wife and I went in this evening to pick up some tea and macarons. According to the receipt, we were "helped" by Abraham, and I use that word loosely. At first when we told him we wanted to get a bunch of macarons, he seemed hesitant to even want to help. He also made it sound as if going to go in the back and check if there were more of a particular flavor was a burden on him, as if it was some inconvenience. After paying he asked us if we wanted macaron boxes, to which we said yes, and then asked if we wanted him to put our purchased macarons into the boxes. After being told yes, his shoulders sank, he sighed, and said without attempt to hide it under his breath, "It's going to take forever."

I understand when someone is having a bad day that they may unknowingly take it out on others but his lack of respect for his job's duties and to my wife and I as customers was absolutely deplorable. After sharing what he said with my wife and telling him to not worry about the boxes, she said to him "Sorry to inconvenience you." He replied, simply, "It's ok."

Kokee Tea was a highlight for us whenever coming to Fairfax but after this last visit I have no intention of ever returning, nor recommending it to my friends. If anything I will be certain to make sure others understand the level of "service" they can expect from...

One of my favorite places for boba. I come here about 2-3 times a month and have been doing so since 2019, so I can say the service varies. I've had nice cashiers and rude ones too, and sometimes I've been told that cash is accepted, while other times I am told that they are not taking cash. Personally, if cash is not accepted, there should be a policy stating that. My favorite thing to get from here is probably the jasmine milk tea or the thai tea. The virgin mojitos are also pretty good along with Georgia on My Mind. Chocolate tea is a bit meh, and the brown sugar tea is a bit overly sweet. I miss the mochi donuts that they used to sell, but the cream croffle is just as amazing.

I love this place so much, and it always perks me up after...

The male staff there was pretty bad. I gave them a very specific instructions on the drink I wanted. (Which ironically was told by female staff that told me what I should do the last time I visited that store) this was not the first time this will happen since it's always back and forth like this. The customer service should be same level. Not based on who works there. I've been going there for the last few years and I was trying to be reserved about the place but the service is so wishy washy based on which employee is manning the front. Usually I like my drink specific and once it's made that way, I'd prefer it for a while. I'm so disappointed to the point I might just go elsewhere for a drink. This is not the only option on this...

Of the 3 Kokee teas in the Fairfax area this one is the best. They are more than happy to customize your drink (more or less sugar, more or less milk, etc) they have a good atmosphere (especially if you like K-pop, lol) They have a decent selection of pastries and food (my kids love the mochi donuts and macarons) but I just come for the tea and cold brew coffee. Top 3: Classic Thai tea (my go-to), Sweet cloud cold brew coffee (when I need a coffee fix), Thirsty Joe (when it's hot and humid outside and i need something fruity and refreshing)

Beware of the time you go… I accidentally came when the middle or high school was out early, and there was at least two dozen orders ahead of mine and it took FOREVER. And then, since there were so many kids in there at one time, I didn’t hear my drink called when it was ready, so it sat on the counter for a while before I noticed it. By the time that I got it, it was melted. The fact that they are walking distance from the schools definitely is a negative in my book. Plus, it was much more expensive than other bubble tea places in the area.

Ordered a strawberry black tea at 7:56pm. Received a text saying your order is ready. Arrived at this store at 8:07pm and the cashier hands me the wrong order. I tell her my name 3 times, its so easy AZULON! Then she says "Oh let me make it for you"......🤦🏼 It wasnt even ready yet. And, this place does not punch card thing to get free tea. I will go to the one in Chantilly and wont ever come back here again! 2 mistakes in first time visit 😭
