Today, in addition to buying clothes there, I bought the Bobo apple pie bites and they are completely stale! You can't even bite into them, they're as hard as a rock. Called the store and the manager told me he can't resell them because I opened the package! I asked why he would want to resell a stale product in the first place. Thanks, Sierra! He won't give me a refund. What kind of business is this? Don't buy packaged food at this store.
UPDATE: I made a purchase of $188 there the other day and wanted to use my $10 Rewards certificate. They scanned it and said it didn't work. That's it - just didn't work. Went back the next day and spoke to someone who seemed more experienced. He told me it had been used already and I know I only just downloaded it and printed it. So I called TJMAXX, as he told me to do, and they affirmed that it is still active and unused. They said to go to the store and tell them to manually enter the code. Now I'm done with this store. Way too many disappointments. If you present a Rewards certificate, they should be required to use it. It just doesn't seem right to me in this day and age, that they are unable to manually enter the code into the system.
UPDATE: I did use that $10 Rewards certificate at TJMAXX. There is something wrong at Sierra, either with their system or with the people. Don't expect to be able to...
Read more20250703 Stopped here to return some socks I bought online. The older Foreign lady at the register was strange and a bit rude. I gave her the email receipt as well as the printed one that they items were shipping with. She asked for the shipping bag. I told her that I have never heard any store asking for the packaging for a return. She said that the packaging has a code that shows the price and to see a picture of the product being returned. I told her that the email receipt has the price and picture 🙄. We'll, good thing when she scanned the item, a picture of the item showed up on the monitor. 20250131 Stopped here to return something and decided to walk around and ended up finding something to buy. The employees are sooooo nice and polite! 20230615 They have a lot of stuff for active lifestyle. I didn't see anything I wanted. I did find some dog treats for my pups. I also found some SmartWool socks, didn't know they have everyday dress sock. I prefer shopping online instead. It's easier to search for something I want instead of trying to find it at the store. They will ship free to the store if you order online, which is a...
Read moreSierra is a strange mishmash of goods. Outdoors and camping stuff, sportswear, freeze-dried camp meals, pet supplies, assorted kitchen and household goods.. Pricing doesn't seem all that great. In fact some of it is downright bizarre. Take their selection of "Paracord," for instance, in camping supplies. Nominally, the term is short for parachute cord, which is a strength-rated, functional, flexible line made up of inner strands of thin, white, twisted nylon fiber collected into a braided outer sleeve of colored nylon(maybe, who knows?). This store sells 30ft, 50ft and 100ft lengths of various colors and "grades," designated by a number, either 350 or 550. Heaven knows what those numbers mean. The really, utterly, stupid issue here is that they all are priced at $3.99. WTH?😆 So, until they get their act together and I can figure out whether I trust the merchandise or the store operators, I'm...
