I just returned from Floor and Decor in Fairfield. I was helped by Demonte and Paul while I was there. They were both exceptional. It’s really tough making design decisions. I’m not a designer but I think I have decent taste. But when getting to selecting what I like I have a lot of questions before I feel comfortable making a final decision. Well at Floor and Decor, both Demonte then Paul approached me to ask if they could help. So I told them my conundrum and what I was going for. From my experience at big box hardware stores, I felt that I had a time limit before they become annoyed with all my questions. However they were the opposite. They both showed me numerous options, gave their opinions, told me the price differences, walked me around to different parts of the store to show me various displays. I was so blown away that I drove home (30 minute drive) to collect my tiles and drove back.

When I returned, Paul showed all the different grout options to go with the tile I was purchasing and the old tile I brought to the store. He discussed what size grout lines would look best and narrowed down the color from many numerous options to the perfect shade. My bathroom will have four different tiles and two different color grouts when done and they both help me feel comfortable with the big and little decisions.

Aside for the excellent customer service, the store was spotless, they had EVERYTHING I needed in stock and I was able to get what I needed from one store. Hundreds of tiles and flooring all on display. Two days prior, I had to go to 3 big box hardware stores to find the one item that was listed as in stock on their website. Lastly, the staff were all so friendly to each other. I could see them smiling at each other, having pleasant chats, and joining their colleagues to assist them with the customer.

This was one of my best shopping experiences I’ve had in CT. I’m surprised I’ve written such a long review but this experience was pretty stellar! Thanks so much...

I’m writing this review to honor the team at Floor Décor in Fairfield CT. When I say they took old fashion customer service to a whole other level I’m understating the great experience I had. My business is buying and selling renovated homes, and you can imagine I’ve experienced all levels of service from very bad to good. The service by the team at Floor Décor is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Let’s start with Eddie the part time associate. He was engaged from the minute he approached and was tireless in his enthusiasm and can do attitude. He really enjoys what he’s doing and it shows. Next was Amanda the manager. All I can say is she’s a superstar! After we ran into some problems getting the large amount of flooring required for the job she jumped into action and she and her team (including Kawani and Paul who’s actually their construction manger, but jumped in to help) pulled off a few minor miracles to make it happen, and happen on time, all the while communicating the progress to me with many updates and calls. She even volunteered to come in on her day off to meet me to discuss alternate choices if the original order couldn’t be met. However, in the end I received my order, even got a call from the warehouse in Texas to let me know that Amanda had requisitioned all of their supply and was engaged in getting it to me. Even the team that delivered my order showed up on time with updates on progress to the site, then happily waited while a dumpster was removed to allow them access. I am a truly happy customer..And I’ll be using my team at Floor Décor for all future needs. Went here twice in the last few weeks to purchase a large amount of tile and my experience was INCREDIBLE. The salespeople are the friendliest, helpful, warmest people. The PRICES are incredible for the high-quality tiles I purchased. Way higher quality than a Home Depot or Lowes and better prices. Back to the salespeople - Every single one of them was incredible. Angel and Amanda helped me the first time and stayed with me for a few hours. They should be getting a commission off of the sale because they were so knowledgable, helped me load my cart, combed through boxes of tile to match dye lots for one of the jobs. They were just all-around amazing and when I realized the time and had to run out to get my son from the bus, Amanda rung me up super fast and coordinated the tile delivery for me remotely so I could hop in the car and head home. My second visit, Tyrone helped me with everything and it was the same level of service described above. Ryan the manager was so unbelievably helpful also and tried everything to find the tile I wanted. Everyone is so down-to-earth and helpful from the grout colors down to the last detail for the project. The delivery was so seamless and the guys were so friendly and careful with the tiles.
