Gateway Courtyard — Local services in Fairfield

This place cost $179ish for 1 night. Not sure why. The bathtub floor is in serious need of repair. While I was in the shower I saw 3 or 4 spots of black mildew in the shower surround. We usually stay at a Hampton but it was not available. I didnt know it would be a true forfeit. 3 stars because I can get nearly ANY other room nearly ANYWHERE else for far less and get that same broken down look. Having whined like I did above I must give credit to the staff. Desk person when we checked in was a super nice young lady who had a beautiful smile. She was very informative about the perks of staying there. This morning when we checked out again there was a super nice lady who wished us well and a safe trip. Staff is not the problem here. Management is ALWAYS the reason for unclean rooms or broken items. Management needs to get off their butts and take a long hard honest look at where this very expensive for the area...

Gateway Courtyard is a large extended shopping mall across the street from Solano Mall. Gateway Courtyard includes a huge major bookstore, a huge major sports store, a Verizon Wireless, a Pet Store, Party City and numerous restaurants. Some of the restaurants include: Five Guys hamburgers, Chipotle, Coldstone ice cream, Panera, Johnny Carina’s Italian food, Panda Express and Mimi’s. Pieology Pizza and Dickey’s are also there. Just down Gateway Blvd is Mel’s Diner, Cajun Crab, Chili’s, Fuddrucker and Chick-fil-A. There is a very busy parking lot with a few handicapped spots. I went to the Quest center for blood work. Easily in and out if you make any appointment online especially if you are fasting. The staff is... well understaffed but always get great service. I've witnessed more than once a staff member taking time to explain what's going on with a confused patient which is rare form other Quest locations and any other place I've had blood drawn. Walk-in is best in the early afternoon but it's always hit or miss. And personally I don't mind waiting a bit longer when I see that they are taking the time to help others that may be scared or confused. And I thank them for personal touch with...
