I've been telling myself for months that I really need a massage. The tension in my upper back and shoulders has gotten so bad that it's starting to disrupt my sleep and make me feel uncomfortable all the time. I mentioned to Ken at Bay Spa that I wanted the focus to be on my back, and from the moment he started, he could tell just how tight my neck and shoulders were.

At first, his touch was gentle, and I found myself thinking, "Come on, Ken, dig in there!" But as he continued, he really got into the knots, and I made a point to practice my breathing while he worked on my shoulders. It felt like he instinctively knew exactly where to apply pressure.

At one point, he did this amazing technique where he stretched my right arm one way while massaging my left upper back in the opposite direction. I don’t know what it was, but I could literally feel the endorphins flooding my brain and the stress melting away. At that moment, I started dreaming about having a job that would allow me to hire Ken as my personal massage therapist.

Imagine trying to smooth out a lumpy mixture—you could say that’s what Ken did to the muscles in my upper back. By the time the session ended, I felt like I was floating for the rest of the day. I was breathing deeply, really inhaling air into my lungs, and I felt like I could hit a Mariah Carey note. Ken was awesome. He started slow and I was concerned he would be "too soft" but he had a methodical routine and covered every part of my body.

He uses his arm and knuckles and elbow and incorporates stretching. He worked out my lower back pain.

Downside but not a reason that I won't return towel to cover you not so fluffy but cheap towel No eye covering

EXCELLENT massages and ambiance! This place got a refresh and looks and feels amazing when you walk in. Am also offers lots of new services. It’s so pretty and relaxing. Highly recommend. Darren and Sally have given me wonderful massages. I have loved every practitioner I have seen here- they are all very good. You can’t go wrong.
