After searching high and low for someplace in the area that offers Group Fitness classes (Zumba in particular) I finally found Crunch. My review is primarily based on Zumba class so if you're not interested in that, you may want to skip this one. I hadn't done Zumba in years but I remember how much I enjoyed it and how it helped me to lose weight in the past. For me, it's important to do something I enjoy. That makes it easier to do consistently. From the first evening we came in, the Zumba classes have been a blast. They have several options. Right now there's Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, Friday evening and Saturday morning. I typically can't make the Tuesday one because I have to work but I made it once and it was fun. Every instructor has their own flair. I typically burn around 600 calories per class. Sometimes the class can get pretty full but there always room to get it done. Highly recommend coming here. Oh and the gym itself is nice too. Lots of equipment. It gets pretty crowded from what I can see. We use PF for our weight lifting and other cardio you. I...

The front desk personnel didn't acknowledge me when I was standing at the counter. They finished their conversation before saying hello. I told them I needed to set up my account with them and already have through Active&Fit. They told me that "the gym is a year old but technically we're only 4 months old and we've been waiting two months for our insurance guy to work with Active&Fit. So we have no way to check you in." I asked a few questions like, is there a time frame for when you'll be up and running? She repeated her last statement. Okay, can I just work out today? Since I pay $25 for Active&Fit and your gym is on their website. No.
The $25 I pay is more than this gym costs. If you're active duty and living in Fairfield avoid this gym. They'll treat you like trash. I am at InShape and will remain there.

Read moreThis is a fairly good gym It decent. But the machines with Missing pins Broken cables or the preacher curl mat that hasnât been fixed in long time is where the flaws come in and the workers.A video on Instagram shows a crunch fitness worker Saying how âThe people in here are mustyâ I mean in my opinion itâs a gym obviously it wonât smell good but itâs also not a fragrance store. Another quote from that video that really kinda ticked me off is âIf you workout here you better you better look like a you workout hereâ For a gym thatâs suppose to be a no judgement this seems pretty judgy to me and if you workout at a gym some people may be self conscious going to a gym then seeing this video may make them think even less of them self and unmotivated them. Overall itâs an ok gym kinda small for how many members there are but I think the worker should be talked to...
