The ABSOLUTE worst customer service from the OWNER/MANAGER. My friend and I visited the store and purchased some items, the sales lady, slender in statue, was very kind. The next day my friend wanted to go back and shop more. I noticed a pair of boots as we entered and tried them on and they fit perfectly. They were priced at 4.99. The same sales lady as the day before brought them to the register area holding them till I finished shopping. I then was in the fitting room trying on a cute dress when I hear outside the curtain LOUDLY, making sure I heard " I am not selling those boots for 4.99, She thinks she can buy them for 4.99 she is CRAZY, the box they come in costs more than 4.99. I WAS SHOCKED!!!!!!!. I quickly exited the fitting room. I only saw the saleswoman. I told her I heard that and asked her what is the price then on the boots , she said that the OWNER?MANAGER? was working on a tag. My friend and I waited standing there, I then asked directing to the lady in the back room, please just let me know how much do you want to sell the boots for, She answered back in a nasty tone "you just have to wait". We then decided to quietly leave. After shopping in other beautiful stores and feeling so welcomed and always greeted with " Welcome in" we ventured back to see what was the price of the boots. The boots were not anywhere to be found in the store neither was the saleswoman. My friend noticed and identified the Owner/manager in the corner hanging a Christmas decoration. I and my husband approached her. I identified myself as the person interested in buying the boots. She nastily said $99.00. Nothing like sorry they were incorrectly priced and I apologize. I said ok thank you anyway . I did tell her that she did not have to be RUDE to me. I then told her she did not live up to the Fairhope shops wonderful customer service. She then laughed, said yeah right!, and asked me to leave. PLEASE do not shop at this place, there are so many beautiful quaint places with pleasant owners whom have a lot of gratitude towards the potential clients coming into their shop. Give your money elsewhere. Look at other reviews and it seems this lady does not know what great customer service...
Read moreThe worst customer service - probably owner - I know. I brought my apparel I would like to sell. She examined the back label of my business black blazer with full lining, well-tailored with good quality of fabric without taking it out of zipped utility cover, she said “Oh I won’t take this, it will not sell!” Huh? It is a famous and well-known brand name! Why in the world she would look at the label of brand name that won’t be visible at outside of apparel customers/buyers see, would they? Foolish! I had driven from home to bring this blazer to this place - 35 miles - for NOTHING ! Had hard time by walking from parking lot, because I had walked with my cane. Never mind. I enjoyed my meal and country ride heading back home, but will definitely NOT go back to Hertha’s! Bet it won’t be there long due to poor business. What a rude woman that treated me...
Read moreIf I could give this awful woman negative stars I would. She sold my Prada purse and Gucci wallet. Every time I would call to see if it sold over the last few years, they would say it had not. In fact, I went there just last week and the girl working looked it up and said it hadn't sold but the owner was out so call next week. I called today to just get my items back, and guess what ?! She said it sold and my money "expired!" Money doesn't expire. She stole from me. I don't know how this woman is still in business. I will make it my mission that none of my fairhope ever consign with her. What an...
