My husband and I stopped at Collin’s store today just to look around for a dining room table. When we walked in the front door, a sweet, beautiful young lady named Becky cheerfully welcomed us. Becky made us felt like we were just as important as other customers there and gave us time to look and of course we changed our minds on different things then wanted them back. Becky was also busy with other customers and she gave us time to decide. Becky provided answers we needed and was always with a smile. I don’t relate well with people when they pressure me in buying things. I tent to avoid the person by leaving the store right away. We’ve been to other places in town and bought stuff but it was just business as usual and not very welcoming. This was our first time buying stuff from Colin’s store and I told my husband this might be my favorite furniture store in town because Becky’s customer service was professional, approachable and friendly. We ended up purchasing a table and other things that we had planned to get later. We didn’t get the finance guy’s name that helped us too and he also was very sincere in thanking us for our business and it meant a lot. Read moreRun to any other furniture store! Worst customer service I have ever recieved! Purchased furniture 1.5 years ago. Have been satisfied until our recliner quit working. Called the store several times and left messages for the service department. No one returned our call for weeks. When we finally did get ahold of someone, we were told they had no deliveries in our area so if we wanted the new switch we would have to pick it up, despite that we had paid for delivery and extended warranty. Went to the store yet get rhe part so my husband can try to fix it. Asked to talk to the manager, who was so unprofessional. She admitted they are grossly understaffed and her excuse for not returning our calls was that no one who works there knows how to transfer calls or access voice-mail. Her excuse for why the service technician couldn't come out is that he's covering 8 stores. Sounds to me like they need to overhaul the manager.. Got the new switch installed and thats not the problem. The manager promised to follow up today and to no surprise, we never got a call. Read moreDo not recommend this store. Selection is poor for quality goods. I purchased a mattress set and bedroom set.. but 16 hours after I was pressured into buying something I really wasn't happy with..I went in to the store to let them know I just want the mattress set. Nothing had been delivered..I had just bought it the night before. They wouldn't refund the bedroom set..I told them there isn't much left to choose from so I needed my money to get one somewhere else. They were very shifty and the"manager" Brian.. was rude and cocky. Definitely not good customer relations.. he just wanted money.. didn't care about the store's reputation. He wasn't from around here but that's not how the good people of our state do business! So I canceled the delivery and he wouldn't give in one inch so I also canceled the mattress set. Now they have my $3,600 and I have nothing. I filed a claim against them. We have Consumer protection laws in our state..I believe it's 72 hours from purchase.. and I was in there 16 hours later. We'll see how this ends up. I plan on doing more reviews on them after this...
