I want to take a moment to reflect on a recent experience that left a disappointing impression—not because of the store itself or its employees, but due to the behavior of a fellow customer.

While browsing, I witnessed a customer declare, “I’m buying the rest of…. “ insert in (previously)stocked merchandise in attached photo) referencing a product that has recently gained popularity as a well-known dupe of a premium item.

This wasn’t just a casual purchase; it was a deliberate and selfish choice to clear the shelf entirely, ensuring no one else had a chance. Such behavior mirrors the kind of impulsiveness you'd expect from a toddler, not a grown adult.

Also, I also found an employee, two of two employees working at 7:45pm - I made the initial comment to, once selfish shopper had left the store, just stood there while I’m attempting to just simply share, as they witnessed the transaction happen, in real time. Only for me to get no response(whatsoever ) just like I was talking to a wall.

To be clear, I don’t expect management to step in and police every selfish shopper. I understand retail doesn't operate that way. Still, it's disheartening to see this kind of conduct—especially from individuals who might typically scoff at the idea of shopping in a discounted retailer, only to now strip the shelves when a trend arises.

In the end, this isn’t a call for store policy changes, just a moment of reflection on how consumer behavior has shifted in disappointing ways. A little more mindfulness and a little less “me first” would go a long way in these...

I came in here today looking for balloons. The first person who I asked for assistance was fairly rude and quick to dismiss me. After looking at the balloons that they had, since the first lady was very quick and blunt about those being the only balloons available, I saw one that I wanted but it did not have a string so I could pull it down. I sought out an employee and found Tim. He was very quick to assist me kind of very pleasant fellow to talk with! He was very helpful and very kind! He is the reason that Dollar tree did not get three stars! Thank you very much for your help and climbing...

This place is not just a dollar store anymore. They have $5 items and $3 items lots of monsters and energy drinks if anybody is interested, I have noticed that the staff is a lot more friendly and they're all different so I kind of like that a lot, I really like their craft items and their summer stuff you know for like planting and they've got planters and dirt and all kinds of knickknacks and stuff it's pretty cool, flash you can't beat the price even if it's at $5 it's still...
