Mama Africa Cuisine — Restaurant in Fargo

Their food is full of flavor and cooked well. If you don't want it too spicy, just ask- they are willing to adjust. The portions are huge. In my opinion, the taste and quality of their food is better than any other west African restaurant in town. Having said that, please note that I think they cook everything fresh- so that takes time. I advise you to call ahead early whether doing take out or sit down. We sat down to eat and waited a long time. Also the dishes didn't come out at once, it was sporadic. Some of our food was cold (because they cooked it first) and we had asked them to warm it up. Also, there was no one to greet us when we walked into the door. We didn't know about the bell to ring until other customers came in a rang it. It was placed on the front counter with no sign. It's a family owned business, so that I can understand. Please do not come here if you love your health they are selling moldy meat to customers my husband spent over $50 on both of our dishes yesterday and it’s insane I wake up this morning thinking I don’t have to cook and im about to dig in some good food I don’t know how long they been selling moldy meat to people but I can imagine this isn’t the first time it’s other African restaurants please don’t go here at all or cook your own food these people are ruthless my husband blames me for going there that’s ok tho I won’t be going there again I couldn’t eat all of it yesterday because I had things to do so I saved it for this day and I’m glad I did they are messing with people health...

I'm from out of State, and I visit Fargo ND often. One day I felt like eating African meal. Therefore, googled for African Restaurants in Fargo. This one came up and I drove there. I had eaten here twice before, while visiting Fargo. Today, I walked into the restaurant, no single soul in sight, as usual. I rang the bell upfront more than 5times, no one showed up. I shouted "Hellooo, anybody here? No answer! So, I walked to a curtain at the back and shouted, "Hellooo, anyone here?". The most nasty, rude and obnoxious woman I've ever seen came out screaming at me. Though, I didn't go into their kitchen, she screamed at me that I shouldn't have come close to the dirty curtains....
