Back in 1947, my late father purchased my mother's Wedding set from Wimmers downtown. It was then located two doors to the west of their existing store. The name Wimmers Jewelry/Fargo was a family name in our home while I grew up. I lived and attended college in the FM area in the late 1970’s/early 1980’s. Once again, Wimmers entered our family as my mother received a beautiful gold and ruby pendant for her birthday, purchased by my father. I have reclaimed my jewelry store that my father spoke highly of during my childhood about the great customer service and the family-owned business. Now, I am devoted, dedicated, and a delighted customer that purchases all my jewelry and jewels at Wimmers from Nancy. My husband decided to upgrade my wedding ring after 20 something years to a diffrent jeweler. When it came back we were both very upset, it was wrecked and nothing like we asked. Very poorly put together and I ended up loosing the large center stone. I shopped around town to diffrent jewelers and got some pritty negative comments and was not treated the best. Untill I walked into Wimmers! I was greeted by Trisha. She listened to me, and said "don't worry I think we can help" she then spent the next 3 weeks working with me and doing research. It was important to me to have my ring as I was married with it. AND like most women i am very indecisive! Lol Trisha handeled it like a champ. Having many conversations and even offering for me to come back and look at some other ideas she had that may work. Let me tell ya, she has a excellent eye! I can not express how thankful we are. They ended up taking the hole thing apart and custom making part of the ring to fit the existing bands. Trisha even took care of the insurance claim. We could not be more pleased with the results! As a person that grew up with the father who was in the jewelry business for 47 years, I really appreciate all the knowledgeable and compassionate sales girl Wendy! I knew the founder Brad Wimmer for many years and his excellent reputation in diamond expertise and quality merchandise that he always offered. Now the store is run by his son Aaron, who I had as a band student in South Fargo. The Wimmer tradition Is unsurpassed for quality, expert knowledge and competitive prices! I would never find myself going to one of the chain diamond stores at West Acres as I grew up in the jewelry business and although I went into education, I became a Goldsmith, Watch repairman and sales person. One of the things that you will get at Wimmers is people that are concerned for the total satisfaction for the customer!
