Paper Sunday — Local services in Farmers Branch

I love their products, and have referred so many people to this company, though I sometimes I’m not certain I should have.

I ordered a product in November that was set to arrive on December 8th. Unfortunately, the product never made it here. The tracking showed that the item got lost, and there was no activity for a week. I called the company, who took quite some time to get back to me. The man on the phone actually tried saying that I just didn’t know how to read the tracking. He asked that I call back in a couple days if I had not yet received it, and that way it would arrive before Christmas.

I called back on his requested day, but there was no answer. He called back days later (now he said it way too late to guarantee it by Christmas, and we had already exchanged gifts with the recipient). He again tried to tell me the package was on time, and this time changed the standard shipping time that he made up last time.

It’s now been a month since I placed the order, I had to get a whole new gift for the recipient, and follow up with the company multiple times. It was much more stressful than it needed to be. The hardest part for me was that a Christian company couldn’t just take accountability, apologize and rectify the situation. I understand these things can happen, but what’s most important is how we handle them.

Paper Sunday products are such special gifts to give family and friends. I started a tradition in my girlfriend circle to "gift one forward" so we all have a journal from another friend in the group. Everyone was so touched by their personalized scriptures, the introductions, and what the giver wrote about them in the journal that they were brought to tears when they opened them. I can't think of a better way to honor our friend's faith and the blessings of our longtime friendships. The excellent and personable customer service was so refreshing as well. When one package didn't arrive when expected totally due to the carrier, they promptly reproduced my order and got it to me quickly. These are the most amazing, thoughtful personal gifts you could ever give to someone. As a person who has received the gift, it is so touching and now is my go to for amazing gifts. Each page has their name in the scripture. We often get so busy with life that we forgot to turn to the word of the Lord and these scriptures on each page are also a great reminder.
