Really 4.5, but I'd rather round it to 5 than 4. I'm glad I waited a day to right this as by chance I ate some Costco Pizza (which I really enjoy) for lunch the next day and that allowed me to better put Bay34 in perspective. The side salad with house dressing was pretty good. Even my two small kids enjoyed eating it - except the black olives. Note: We ordered a whole pie, not by the slice If I had to pick one ingredient that really stood out for me, it was the crust. While you get the classic New York flop as seen in my pics, the crust held up otherwise. It was never tough or brittle. Had a nice mouth feel to the end as well as good flavor. Even the last slice we ate, which had already cooked off quite a bit, still had the flop and was not soggy in any way. And above all, i enjoyed eating the crust. It tasted good. Not soaking in garlic butter, no gimmicks, just a good normal pizza crust. This leads to the next thing. I mentioned I enjoy Costco Pizza, but man is it greasy, and Bay34 is not greasy, certainly not compared to Costco. This made the experience much better. Your hands weren't slick from eating, and you didn't feel gross afterwards. Neither the cheese, sauce, or pepperoni really stood out as great, they were good quality toppings, and in that they did their job. Everything came together very well and made a product that was better than the sum of it's parts. While I wouldn't go out of my way to drive to Addison (I'm in Tarrant county) just to eat here (this is the 4.5 instead of the full 5 I mentioned above), if I'm ever in the area and want NY pizza I know where I will want to stop and grab some.

This is one of my favorite pizza places in the DFW area. With previous times, I’ve always ordered some of their (Large and above) pizzas that are reasonably priced for the quality and quantity I receive. This time I went with coworkers for lunch. We had a pretty sizeable group (7 people) and all of us ordered a variety of items. With my familiarity with the pizza, I decided to go with the lunch special of 2 slices of a pizza + a drink. It was relatively cheap and came out to ~$11. I ended ordering a slice of Florentine and Veggie Pizza. I didn’t see Veggie Pizza there so when I asked about it, the employee offered to make it. Not knowing what to expect, I agreed. Our group received our orders after about 15 minutes. One member had to wait a little longer than the rest of the group who either ordered a sub or pizza because he had ordered a calzone. The portions I received were huge and I was pretty full after I ate both slices. I’m a huge fan of their sauce and crust so in terms of taste and flavor, this was much needed. There was a nearby soda station so I grabbed some water from there as well. Drinks are included in the special and they have a variety of drinks to try from. If I wasn’t full, I would have been tempted to grab a slice of cheesecake or cannoli. The portions for all items for my colleagues were quite massive so in terms of quantity, this was much needed. I’ll definitely be back here, and maybe be a little more adventurous to try a calzone!

Bay 34th St. New York Style Pizzeria is a unique dining experience in Farmer's Branch.I came around 12:30 on a weekday and the small eatery was already getting crowded. I had a single slice of Florentine which had spinach, tomato, and feta cheese toppings and a side salad. It cost under $10. and was very filling and yummy. They may be called a New York Style pizzeria, but just look at the Texas-sized slices! One piece was plenty and I walked in real hungry. The Italian dressing was a house specialty and was marinara-based. Unfortunately at this time, Bay 34th St. does not have a vegan option. Other than that slight menu miscalculation, vegetarian and omnivores alike should agree that Bay 34 St. Pizzeria is awesome. They get extra credit for personally greeting me as I walked in the front door. I will definitely be back to try one of their calzones. It's a little East Coast flavor in the heart of Farmers Branch. Check it out.

Sabrina Ries and Jason Eklund,

You were made aware of the fact that the pizza contained turkey bacon at the time of payment when you arrived to the store. Should you not have been satisfied with what you were told you could’ve said something at the time of payment while you were in the store and your pizza could have been replaced promptly as you ordered it. All of our products are beef and turkey, it’s noted in our menu and it’s what give Bay 34th Street its competitive edge by providing a cleaner meat option by excluding pork in the restaurant. Should you not have been satisfied with the topping, that is acceptable and understandable. But claiming that you didn’t know what was on your pizza is a lie because you heard it and were made aware of it when you arrived. The manager has offered to give you credit for next time. We do not give refunds to customers who hold on to their food. That is how people manage to get free meals. In the event of dissatisfaction we offer to correct the problem by replacing the original order with a new one or giving a customer a refund in exchange for the meal they did were not satisfied with or that we made a mistake on. But in this case the mistake is on you because you had the option to reorder it but chose instead to keep the food and complain and make up a lie later in the effort to obtain free food for a refund and threaten to put false information in a review in an effort to boost low ratings. And our customer service is our top asset at this business that sets us apart from other businesses. So again good luck trying to say “bad customer service” when that is the number one thing people...

BEWARE OF OWNER/MANAGEMENT EXTREMELY OUTLANDISH AND DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS

If you ever have issues with your food, be prepared to be belittled about your concerns by the owner/management!

Ordered a “brooklyn stuffed” pizza and did not receive what I thought it was. Tried a few slices to give it a chance but it was so soggy and vegatables were watery and the grease was warping the bottom of the box 😷 Pizza tasted horrible. Also ordered the garlic rolls and couldnt even taste the garlic! On top of that, the marinara sauce was the worst marinara sauce ive ever had. like what?? Its marinara? My spouse and I immediately got stomach aches after eating a few slices, and mind you I’m a pizza fanatic and never have issues eating pizza!

We ordered pickup and drove a TOTAL of 40 minutes there and back for picking up and returning of our order (ive NEVER had to return a pizza in my life but couldnt stand paying $36 for this)

Mind you, my spouse and I were very kind about this and were not irate customers what so ever, its just a pizza!! Owner had a terrible phone manner and blamed me for the soggy/watery pizza and repeatedly said it was my fault, I was wrong, and that our concerns were invalid. Owner said there have never been complaints about his pizzas and was instigating that we were crazy- its really alarming how owner got extremely defensive when all I asked was to return the pizza for a refund.

When my spouse arrived to return our items, owner’s mannerisms were so harsh and he yelled to never come back- ALL because we were not satisfied with the quality received!

Oh trust us, we will GLADLY...
